Ya, saw that on their website. I’d like to know when the promo ends since I need to buy other stuff before getting this bad boy! I emailed them yesterday so just waiting for a response now.
Before they updated, they said it would last til the codes expire. So no real date, but I wouldn’t expect it to be a super long time. As for getting a response from Hori, I e-mailed those jerks on Saturday after they explained the code mix-up to see if my order would go through. The STILL haven’t gotten back to me.
If I could just find out if my order was cancelled, I could re-order with the 20% off code. But my hands are pretty much tied for now. such a bummer, because I"ve decided I’m finally willing to pay for a VLX.
As for Gamerbee/Momochi: I thought it was totally awesome that they both used a VLX in grand finals, but I thought those two + Choco were sharing the same stick. Did one of them just borrow Sabin’s?
Is the VLX limited in it’s production numbers?

In regards to the Horishop sale, the codes are no longer on the frontpage so I would surmise the sale is over. For those who have experience ordering with Hori, how long did it take to get a shipping confirmation? I ordered on Friday and I’m anxious to see if my order has actually gone through. The charge is pending on my credit card, but Hori has not responded to my e-mail and I’m afraid they are just going to cancel it. Now with no code, I probably won’t be able to get a discount on it.

I think I lucked out. Before they explained the whole coupon ordeal, I ordered a 360 VLX with the 30% code immediately after teamspooky updated their twitter with the coupon codes. After I read the code issue regarding VLXs and 30% coupon, I assumed my order would be canceled. Lo and behold, I just received a UPS shipment email for my VLX, I can’t wait… 20lbs shipping? woah, what does this thing weigh outta the box?

Order total was $239.99. Only 2 days left for those who need the VLX. I can say with certainty that I have just purchased my last stick. I think I will keep it stock too or upgrade the pcb when the next round of consoles come out. Here’s hoping mine does not have any defects. GET HYPE!
They should keep the price lower, imo. It’s a great stick, but $300 is really unreasonable.
Hori claims them to be “limited”, but only time will tell, and it looks like Gamestop is already shipping them. :looney:
That should be your main reason to jump on it now for $240! I think I might just cave in & order tomorrow. Gonna need a good nights sleep over it now that I know the promo ends on Friday.

Ordered my early yesterday, it shipped late same day, but has an ETA of 10/25. Waiting sucks. 
I couldn’t pass up the discount. Regardless of wether this is a truly limited stick or not, I’ve wanted one since they were first announced. Now I really want to get it and Per’s new PS360 PCB in hand so I can spec out the (hopefully) cleanest mod setup for this stick/pcb combination.
