That is cool. Did you make the stand yourself? Just received mine today and am about to switch the gate and add the optional board. I have a perfect sturdy metal/wood desk and it fits perfectly. Im not sure if I should use the optional board but the heavier the better. It’s already heavy without it and this is by far the best home stick ever. Makes my TE’s /Hraps feel small.
Yup, I made it myself. This stick is so heavy that the board isn’t needed. The board assures a flat surface for a good grip though, but any table should be okay for this stick.

Does anyone have imperfections on their stick ? I got mine today and the art looks like shiny metallic foil but with a lot of hair line cracks in it,is that the way its supposed to be or am I just being picky ? It looks like the glue that holds it down became sperated or something some parts look smooth some parts looks like heat affected it. I’ll take pics when I get back home.
This stick automatically gets you baller status in my book.
anyone have a idea on what kind of portable stand that i could use for this, if it even exists?

Once again guys let me know if im being too picky,or is it supposed to be like this. I was under the impression this stick was all about quality and for 300 dollars the art is all cracked and coming unglued.
When i tried to press down in the imperfections like this it got a little bit better

Mine has a little of that in the corners but it seems to be throughout the panel for yours. I would contact Hori as was suggested.
Mine has 2 hairline cracks in the top plastic piece around the turbo panel (have to see it in the right light for it to be visible). I just put one of those sanwa coin stickers in that corner to cover it up
What would you recommend? Something the average man could buy? 
Maybe a keyboard stand would work. I’ve heard snare drum stands are pretty stable for sticks, but they might be too small for a VLX.
I was thinking of maiing some foldable table legs on the board it came with, the problem is figuring out how to do it.

that looks pretty neat. Would probably need to see it ran through a couple of tests though… like how hard you can press onto it before it unlocks/or breaks… and just how durable it is.

It’s wierd but I guess it’s just how the photos are taken, like Kyosuke_13’s stick looks super glossy candy red and shiny, but some look normal red like the arcade cabs. And your stick Kyosuke_13 looks like it sat in the sun for hours, it came like that?
