Hey guys. So I made some calls to a couple of the Round 3 stores. Here?s what the ones who gave me straight answers had to say. I?ll be updating this with more info in the future. I’ve also provided the # of the store and the name of the employee who gave me the info.

Edit: Called all of them. I’m waiting on calls from Kentucky and Texas. Arizona hasn’t given me a straight answer yet. But if you don’t see another store on this list, their answer is no (except for San jose obviously). If you want to travel to one of these stores, you best play it safe and CALL THEM to let them know you’ll be flying in. Or if there’s a store not on the list that you would love to go to, try calling them to see if you can haggle them into getting you in. And if you do decide to fly out, DO NOT FORGET YOUR ROUND TWO CERTIFICATE

Chicago- not sure on supplying stick, but you can travel from out of state. Probably won?t confirm about the stick during the week of the tournament. (Ryan) (773) 989-1579

Chamblee, Georgia- They will be providing sticks and they ARE ALLOWING PEOPLE TO TRAVEL FROM OUT OF STATE. ALL YOU FINAL ROUND GUYS COME GET THIS! (Marcus) (770) 220-9903

Orlando, Florida: Forgot the guys name, but he said you best let them know ahead of time to see if they’re cool with it (407) 228-7944

Halethorpe Maryland: You can fly in from out of state but they’re not sure about providing sticks. They said bring your fight pad and maybe your own stick and they might give the okay on one of them (Brandon and Chris) (410) 242-4678

so are these the ONLY stores? i mean this is not tentative… they say one thing and don’t clear another… don’t want that shit to happen when you buy your ticket and you get dqed

btw… outta state but supposed to be going to THAT assigned district… doesn’t mean they will take you… cause some states require you go to another state for their assigned district…

I told each of them them I was from Los Angeles and they said they’d be cool with having me play there if I went as long as I have a round 2 certificate. I’m only halfway through the list now and making more calls. This is what I’ve found from them, but if you want to confirm, you can call them yourself to be safe. Feel free to ask for the guy whose name I listed

Right now, I think this info is most practical to Mike Ross and anyone else traveling to Final Round. For the rest of us, it would be convenient if the rest of the qualifiers could post what each of them wants to do individually based on this new info.

That was my plan…8 hours of long scenic drive. Maybe if I get enough guts I’ll pedal to the metal and do 150 all the way and cut down the time to 5 hours. lol
Maybe I just won’t go because of the expense. :shake:

I’m still trying to decide on mine. If I decide to go to San Jose, I’m down to roll with a couple of you guys. But I’m kind of leaning a little towards Maryland, NYC, Louisiana, or maybe even Orlando

This is KillerKai on Mike’s account. Got my ticket. I’ll be there for only a day unfortunately since it was the most time and cost efficient option for me. But I’ll definitely get some matches in w/ you. Lookin forward to meeting you guys. I fly in at around 9 am at the airport and will probably cab out to La Place after some breakfast. After the tournament, I’ll probably catch a cab back to the airport (departing flight is at 7).

Ill see about taking the day off from work. You may not need a cab if thats the case. If i can get off of work i really would not mind picking you up and bringing you with me to round 3. since you will probably take it, and since I would have to pass in front of the airport anyway to get to Laplace. A cab there from the airport and back could be a bit pricy. Just as long as you can promise me a few matches with one of so-cal’s best. im really trying to level up my game beyond that of the locals, as I am one of the few who REALLY take this game seriously and aspire to compete on a higher level. no disrespect to them.
