Yes sir, I will be in NY if everything works out. It’ll be a little hectic because I’m going to be trying to catch a bunch of stand-by flights but I should be there in time for MvC3 for Guard Crush. I’ll try my best to keep you guys updated on what’s going on.

SSF4 Battle and Brew Tournament tomorrow. We are starting no later than 8pm. PLEASE BRING STICKS FOR BOTH SYSTEMS!
Also, if you can, don’t eat until you are at Battle and Brew. I’m not trying to advertise for them, but they don’t charge us door fee at hopes that people will buy food and drinks. If the tournaments aren’t profitable, they might stop allowing me to hold them.
Uh wat. I want to come but I definitely don’t have a stick for both systems. I’m assuming that I’ll be able to borrow one from somebody, but are we really switching back and forth between systems? Also, the links in your sig don’t work.
No that’s just what I look like… in my mind. Celtic Guardian was always my favorite monster I even for awhile hole punched a copy and wore it on my neck in high school. I was quite the nerd back in those days, the good old days where the game made sense and we tribute summoned and shit.
I know there’s some Yugi players in the thread anybody else miss the days when all the broke shit was legal, you usually only got one summon a turn, and polymerization wasn’t a built-in monster mechanic.
Lol I played pretty hard back then up until 9th grade… 2002? I played until the Pharonic Guardian pack came out and my decks were stolen. =(
I checked out the current metagame and have to say that the new synchro stuff is pretty dumb. Swarming 5 monsters, two or three of them 2500+ atk power with effects, by turn 2/3 is very dumb.
Not sure what year I started but Metal Raiders was the new pack, I quit on whatever set had Yata Garasu and I agree the syncho swarm meta is pretty silly.
I think the links don’t work because of the change to SRK. Anyway, I want people to bring sticks in general because he have been having a problem with people(who I know have sticks) not bringing sticks.

I started playing at the same time. That’s when Mirror Force made it’s debut and everyone was dying to get one.
I quit before Yata-Garasu, but I had friends that still played when the deck was pretty much staple. Dumb card lol.
But on a different note, good stuff to Eddie and Cardell at Guard Crush 16. The stream was hype, and I’m glad that we got to see you guys play in a setting so far from home and still play hard.
