I’m a turntablist and I think this game looks lame.

Well, I bought guitar hero world tour for my sister, But also as a way for me to get familiar with drums. Now I know its not the real thing, But hey I dont got space or money for drums so I guess its better than nothing right? Plus I keep hearing its a bit too late for me to pick them up :sad:
I’m not at a disbelief that there is Hip-Hop in a DJ’ing videogame. I think there’s TOO much Hip-Hop, and not enough showcase of other genres(Or rather the genres they do have don’t interest me at all).
Yeah scratching originated with Hip-Hop, but that doesn’t mean the game should be limited to like a 60% hip-hop playlist, and other genres that make up the other 40. The same techniques that originated with Hip-Hop nowadays are used with tons of different genres.

On topic: Game could be a cool distraction, but i don’t know if actually knowing how to mix on a real turntable will make it easier to have fun with, or just make me want to go do the real thing.
I agree with the assessment of the track list though, too much hip-hop. Mixing has expanded to so many genres now. If the game is more about scratch than anything i kind of understand it, but i’d love to see more electro and DnB thrown in.
