Thanks for the tips Galactic. Farming act 1 inferno, at least parts of it, sounds a lot more challenging and profitable than going through hell all over again.

Finally level 60, time to farm act 1.
Is the rainbow level re-accessible? Read somewhere that you have to pay extra to upgrade the staff if you want to access it on a higher difficulty?
The staff is re-usable as much as you want to re-use it. In order to open the portal on higher difficulties, you have to beat the difficulty, then pay to upgrade the staff.
So I feel like such a scrub, but I just now discovered that potion cooldown is affected by effects that reduce cooldowns, like Evocation.
trading on d2jsp is ass.
10 american dollars will buy you like 90-100k diablo 3 gold there. most people want to deal via in game gold anyway.
and for the most part it’s full of the stuff too shitty to go on AH.
This was actually really fun,since you can get archon back really fast, and actually have melee wizards. I managed to kill a few unique mobs in act 2 (though i wouldn’t advise trying to farm magda like this) and could do successful runs in act 1 with explosive blast. I thought that skill was useless before but it comes back really fast and is cheap and ap efficient with a crit build. I tried a kiting build too with the stationary explosive blast and having living lightning reduce the cooldown of it and diamond skin so i can survive stray hits.
I don’t like to see nerfs in general because there actually many variations of different builds, using some skills as a base.

yea d2jsp is pretty bad right now. but thats how it usually starts, things are super inflated. after a couple months though it should be an awesome place to snag deals.
How does a solo Monk in Hell beat knockdown/nightmare/illusionist with minions (multiply that by how many illusions you have to deal with) that all have the same fucking charge move and have ridiculous HP? Fuck the Monk he’s got nothin… I even when got my is dodge close to 90% good thing they can 2-3 shot you… FML.
I eventually beat the 30 of them that kept spawning (I think it took me about 45 mins) but seriously what the bloody fucking hell…
But hey, I got rare boots with 100+ Dex and 60+ Int…

Things will come down, while there are still alot of idiots in the AH. Prices overall have came down quite a bit in the last few days. You can tell alot of these people have just never used an AH and were asking like 600,000 gold for some random level 30 rare acouple days ago.
So I finally got to play for a bit. Only used 2 potions, guessing “Nightmare”, “Walling” and “Knockdown” are the champions to look out for? Those are the only time I’ve even felt like I could die.
One thing I’m not clear on is DPS. Whenever I pick a weapon, I just base it on if it shows a + green in the stats. Is that the best indicator in choosing?
If you just started playing, you won’t see them until your in Hell difficulty Normal/Nightmare was cake.
For normal and nightmare that should be fine. Hell and inferno you’ll have to take other things into consideration, which you’ll hopefully be thinking about as you play.
