Official Diablo 4 Thread : Hype train departing

Are you shitting me?

This guy is reloading Act II Inferno right before Maghda over and over again. He uses that spinning running monk move to go down. If the random cellar there spawned, he goes into, blink strikes to the mobs, blinds then, and loots the resplendent chest for free loot. Drops that wards that blocks mobs and TPs out, leaves game. Rinse repeat for limitless free loot.

He went to his auction house tab, and I see no less than 8 legendary items up there.

Kulle Story Bro.

Edit - Actually, I’m not really sure why I’m so surprised by this. Probably due to the fact that it’s a monk pulling it off, and they just seem to be the class with the most glitches right now.

That’s it, I can’t compete with today’s gamers.

I should just stick with 5 minute casual smart phone games on the toilet.

Legendaries suck you know…

People have been exploiting that chest ever since they realized that they had to farm for Inferno. I believe I saw it as early as last Thursday.

EDIT: Also, I have realized that your Level means much more than people are giving it credit. Yes, a bunch of gear can make you bad ass, but because damage reduction is based on level, if you over-level a little, then you can tank like a beast. This, imo, is the only way to hit 60 in Hardcore. You just have to constantly over level in order to make sure that you don’t take damage from what you are fighting. Gear can only help so much.

this plus the fact that they all have enrage timers.

I really dislike the enrage function on mobs.

I think the enrage function on bosses is fine though. It’s a boss, not some random blue mob that’s trolling you with walls, vortex and knockbacks.

There a video of this? Don’t have time to watch the livestream atm.

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Start the Act II quest “City of Blood” at the second part of the quest (I believe it is called “Find the Witch’s Lair,” or something like that).
  2. Run to the room where you fight Magdha (don’t worry about saving the people in cages inside of Alcarnus). DO NOT START THE FIGHT.
  3. Leave the game.
  4. Resume Game. You start right outside of the boss door.
  5. Run to where the Town Cellar dungeon spawns (a little south of the boss door). If it isn’t there, then leave the game. If it is there, then enter.
  6. Kill the five or six occultists and open the Resplendent Chest.
  7. Repeat steps 3 through 6.

I dunno, there are some uber nerds whove beat inferno and are probably farming act 4 inferno, and there opinions would be hard to take because well, they’re pros at these kinds of games.

Im still farming inferno act 1 with a wizard and cannot get 5 stacks of of nephalem magic find, ive gotten 4 before i couldnt find another champ pick i could kill before the timer ran out.

Im running 13.5k dps (i can go up to 19k dps but i wouldnt recommend not using prismatic force armor in inferno mode), 350 elemental resist, 460 physical resist, 73% magic find, 26k hp. If im playing with my friends who are barb with 60k hp and a DH with 26k dps, we can get through the butcher on inferno. but act 2 is still not worth it to try to farm champion packs at their level, and definately not my level.

Repair costs are already 6k for me, for them its almost 10k.

This is not hard enough? this is pretty damn hard.

If you’re monking it, you don’t even have to kill them. Cellar isn’t there? Drop the ward to block them and run down the little hill just to the right of the cellar. TP out, leave game. Rinse repeat. It is there? Go in, blind the cultists, loot the chest, drop the ward near the corner and TP out. Rinse repeat. Just in case, take the templar follower so he can get the crap beat out of him while you gtfo.

u can do that with azmodan too with a dh

^ There’s now a trade section for Diablo III on d2jsp. You guys should DEFINITELY check it out and make an account if you haven’t already. 1300+ viewers, HOLY SHIT!

I saw a dude paying a 100,000 forum gold for a rush to Inferno. That is nuts. I’d say your average amazing Diablo III items only goes for a couple hundred to a couple thousand at most. To compare that in D2 terms, each Enigma is like…10 forum gold. Do the math!

this is my biggest gripe with this game…i get a orange drop, i get excited…

id it and find out it is no good…complete disappointment…sigh

Towns are not safe, especially in Inferno:

sweet merciful fuck. EVERY item in my auction just up and disappeared. Didn’t sell, didn’t come back to me. Lost a fucking REALLY good legendary bow.

Sent in a ticket to blizzard. How exactly are they going to run a RLAH, if the fake gold AH is brokenly broke???

got damn, I just lost a LOT of money worth of gear. And I sure as fuck do NOT want a rollback

Just reached level 60 and Act 4 Hell thanks to Noodle. I wonder how my barb is gonna be like in Inferno.

AH is broken. Time for another 8 hour server maintenance. I haven’t lost items, only gold from buyouts after items never appear in the completed tab. Won’t be buying a thing once the RMAH is launched. Who actually will? Servers could bug out at any time and you’re out of actual coin.

Oh wow. I just put up my Legendary item up for 100 grand. Hope I don’t lose anything. Already have a transaction for 30k that I haven’t received yet. :frowning:

I also bought 2 helms by accident cause the first one I bought timed out but after a while I saw it in my stash.

It seems they are nerfing smoke screen from Dh and force rune from the Wiz, Monks Boon of Protection is also getting nerfed.

Seems the patch hit EU but not US yet. Look at how they fixed the force rune:

By making it not work…

Nerf for monks

I’m disappointed that a lot of developers think a nerf is the first thing to go to. If some classes are having problems, wouldn’t it be “more fun” if they got buffs?

I bought something earlier today and it took about an hour for it to show up in my completed tab.

Lol @ Monk nerf. Nerf Barbs too while you’re at it. I find it a bit messed up that melee is struggling so much in Inferno, so they nerf them because they made a mistake. IMO, in this case, it’s better to wait until a bigger patch of class balance changes to fix this sort of thing. Fuckin’ Blizzard.
