Loving the Witch Doctor, got invited to a late act 1 party with my lvl 10 WD and got to see what the WD was all about when swarms of crap come out and have to push them back with my own swarms of crap.
Now if I could only log in again… and get some people to play with that will not rush to the next area! I wanna loot shit dammit! Wheres peoples sense of adventure!?
Monks are really amazing once you hit about 20. I’ve never had to think and I’m half way through nightmare now.
Trancendence might be the best skill in the game. Ever skill heals for half my life … no joke. Plus if shit goes bad a bubble that heals me for 100% of my life that make me invuln for 3 sec. Add onto that a 45% chance to dodge and build so much meter than I can use a skill literally every second of the game … ya … ridiculous.
Haven’t checked my dps in awhile but at 30 i was pulling about 700 thanks to wind and mashing that vulcan kick <- that’s whats the rune is called forget the name of the actual move XD
Their wind aura makes them deal like an additional 100 dps x number of mobs around them so bet I’ve broke 1k quite a few times.
I couldn’t give a flying psychotic fuck about virtual “items”.
My computer actually has rather valuable information on it, that I’d just as soon not get compromised due to Blizzard having shit for a firewall on their own site.
Bah, I was starting to not die repeatedly with the Witch Doctor and the servers got pounded. At least you don’t lose EXP when you die, I don’t mind paying some gold for repairs. Ended up somewhere in Chapter 2.
Character-wise, witch doctor sucks early on, but once you get some skills going he gets better. Only issue I have right now is not having enough dogs to spam dog explosion often, and it’s looking until I have to wait until level 45 to get any way to speed up the process reliably. No big though.
Also, thank you Blizzard for not having to pay someone for when the mercenary dies. Also enjoying the personality each merc has and the customization of them.
You’re not going to find anything worth a damn that early in the game. Those baddies aren’t giving you enough EXP to matter. What you call “adventure” everyone else calls “wasting time.”
well, im currently lvl30, demon hunter 578 dps. critting for like 860. shit is beautiful. me and a witch doctor are duoing the whole thing. we bursted down the act 3 boss like if there was 4 of us, lol. then while watching the cut scene for act 4, we get a MOTHERUFCKING beautiful message sayign our game has been terminated and bam we were kicked, in the middle of the dam cut scene…blizzard has been trolling me all day dammit…
I hope someone rights up a program to parse the damage number. I’ve been playing around with 2 hand vs 1 hand stuff, and even though the dps number is usually much lower on the 2hander because its slower, if you’re relying on big hits and unspammable skills that have cd, its actually is better. That dps number is deceiving in a way, because it doesn’t take in account what skills you are using, and seems to be more of an autoattack dps rating. Kind of too technical to ask at this point, but it’s one of those things where if I want to know if I’m killing shit faster rather than just eyeballing it.
All well and good that my DPS is reading as 90, but whenever my Hydra hits something it melts, and whenever my Force Wave hits multiple things, they explode.
Sure, my Magic Missile/Chain Lightning isn’t pumping out massive chunks, but damned if my other skills aren’t shredding things (now that I have a Hydra to mitigate the other skills’ cooldown, at least).
