I think my first character will be a Monk instead of a Barb. The changes to a Barb sound shitty, you need meter to go HAM. Fuck that shit, in D2 Barb’s can go HAM ALL DAY, as long as you got some mana leach.
Monks need meter to go HAM as well.
Monks technically go CAM, calm as a motherfucker.
What? Really? Fuck. Blizz is gonna make me roll a caster.
Not all skills for either class cost their meter. You can still dunk on the swarms of hell with either one.
DH looked kind of boring but after checking out the hatred/discipline meters they look really fun I’m definitely rolling DH on my second play through but first time around have to go with the only class that can fucking slow time.
I’m gonna have to see how they play. I’m the most interested in Barbs and Monks, with the Witch Doctor a distant 3rd. Maybe when the eventual expansion hits it may add some other characters I’d want to play as.
What the fuck? My D2JSP trade thread got closed. It was called “Holy flying Sars this for trade list is cheap” with a tagline under it that said “Better bring your gas masks.” I’ve never been banned on any forum for anything, but I’ve been “suspended” multiple times on D2JSP. They’re by far the most sensitive group of people I’ve ever seen on any forum.

That’s my most recent trade thread. A cool thing about the site is that their’s going to be a D3 section, so all of my “forum gold” can be used to buy D3 goods, too.
Let me clarify, if there’s something I don’t understand or need to ask questions about how some skill functions or something like that I have people to ask. I will endeavor for more clarity in my future posts.
I hope this doesn’t turn out like the last game we waited 10 years for.
currently I’m playin Diablo 1 again. in lvl 6 atm, god it’s so ugly, but nonetheless does the job by killing waiting time.
btw if anyone want to catch up or refresh the story:

Already posted that a couple pages back, bruh.
Monk needs meter to run in to attempt ham, get hit, then use the meter to run awaaaaay!
Yeah, I’m rolling a barb first.
Cursing is my religion. And Jesus fucking Christ, religion has continuity issues.
Also: I am floating, with my eyes closed, with no sails. I am soaking, I am weathered, by the winter of mixed drinks.
Add my name to the list
my battle tag name is victron#1123
i’ll be sure to add you guys by tuesday. too bad it’s only 4 players instead of 8 so we could have a full srk team
@Victron
4-person teams are easier to manage than a full 8-person game. more playing, less managing and way easier to create a workable synergy. i remember people just wandering the fuck off and losing aura buffs [damn hammerdins feel way too full of themselves] costing the other players their lives. fuck multi-shot, lightning enchanted, extra fast uniques with aura mobs as well.
8P
I would’ve liked six players but I can understand that would’ve pushed the system requirements up, and Blizz is aiming to make this game accessible to people without baller ass computers.
Perhaps in the expansion they will increase the number, since by then anyone with computers that barely meet requirements should’ve quit or upgraded.
4 people is too much. I’m only playing with Jabs anyway.
I find it weird that DH can wiff for meter and build up hatred, while the Monk and Barb need to hit something. Before I fought Leoric though you can just smack the pots on the sides to get your spirit and rage up.
I think 4 is a good number of people, that’s because when it came to 8 mans in D2 it was usually a clusterfuck of hold shift and aim in the direction of enemy because you would have a shitload of spell effects and projectiles going on. It was fun running with a lot of people, but if the game is as hard as Bliz is saying, some coordination will go a long way compared to sort of just zerging the bosses in 8 man D2.
I actually think 6 would be ideal.
6 - like the perfect number of party members in a single player RPG.
6 for a single player rpg? wtf
3 or 4 at most.
For Diablo 3 “5” would have made the most sense seeing you could do a full group only with unique classes.
a friend is coming over at Tuesday with his pc. gonna rip through the game in 2 player mode.
I think I read somewhere that you could hire up to 3 different mercenaries. Is that true or you only get to pick one?
You are*** so*** not original gangsta.
