Nice to know and check out some of the equipments. But any guide on Diablo 3 is only useful up to the next patch which in this one’s case would be v 1.01 when Blizzard decides to change the stats for half the items.

on a side note, we got d3 in today at walmart, box is godlike, i like the art on the inside. we also got some shit we supposed to give away at release, lanyards, posters, and soundtrack. im defiently copping a poster and soundtrack for myself, lol. the lanyard looks cool as shit, but i have no need for one.

I may try to get a stream up for the sake of testing it on my new system. I had tried xsplit before and couldn’t get it to stream Metro 2033, and I gave up.
I really dig Man VS Game’s set up. His fancy green screen overlay of himself. However, he is extremely good looking and funny. So it makes sense that he has a billion views.
I SHOULD support fellow SRKers and their streams but I’d be lying if I said I would be watching any other stream than Day[9]s on Diablo launch day…
The only way I am watching a stream on launch day, is from a first person point of view.

Diablo 3’s release date will be in 3 weeks for me. I want to buy it at release, but you don’t really get to play any games when you study game design.

I really couldn’t tell you why people watch streams of non competitive games.
I will be playing and watching at the same time. Plus, I find Day[9] to be funny. And when I think of him without sleep and rambling on about the game I’ll be playing at the same time, it sounds like extra entertainment value to me that’s all. Plus if I get stuck somewhere or something, I’ll have an army of people to ask questions to so that’ll be helpful.
