D3 I’d say yes. BF3, most likely not.
In any case, the difference between lowest and highest settings in D3 are like, some anti-aliasing, character shadows and some clutter on the ground. You don’t need much to run this game. You’re not missing much either if you run it at low.
My first character is going to be a WD. In D2, my first character was a nercromancer.I always play characters that can summon minions. Even in WoW, the hunter was my first main.

Why wouldn’t it be able to run Battlefield 3 at optimal? Which area or areas is it lacking? I’m trying to gather as much info as possible before I buy a new pc.

You actually don’t need to preorder it from bnet to use the downloader/installer. All you get when you preorder is the game added to your bnet account and a link to the downloader. There’s no login of any sort on the downloader so anyone can download the game and have it already installed on launch day.
Ofc your account won’t be ready to log in until you’ve picked up your game and applied the cd-key/made an account. I would suggest just getting it from bnet so you can get those steps out of the way now… only reason to not order it directly from Blizzard is if you have a low bandwidth cap or somethin.
Why does it say you can download it on May 14th?
So I can just download it and then if I want I can buy a physical disk and just use whatever serial is in there to just activate the game on my account? Does that make sense? I want a physical disk lol, but I don’t want to wait a long time installing the game if I can do it right now.

You can download all the files for installing but it won’t actually let you install until the 14th.

How big is the game anyway? Around 12GB or so I’m guessing because of the true 1080p? I assume it runs as high as 1920x1200 at least.
the downloaded files are 7,6GB big.
well you download everything necessary. on may 14th, 4 hours prior to the server going live you can start to install it and download the day one patch and start playing 0:00.
Waiting until 2am CST is going to suck.
Think they’ll release the client for those of us that chose to get a physical copy of the game?
