I would not be surprised if WD’s minions scaled with level/with his own stats/with difficulty. I noticed early on they were getting gibbed by the fat man explosions, but later on they were able to survive an explosion with 40% health. They might be able to hang in Inferno, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Diablo has always been about gear over character level. This is awesome, because I was sick of steamrolling through hell, and wiping the floor with the Uber bosses. I can’t wait.
Blizzard isn’t going to let a huge part of WD become useless in Inferno. Bet.
Leoric has 15mil in inferno. So I don’t think we would have something like those 3 second hell baal kills anymore.

How soon after launch until someone beats inferno mode with a hardcore character? Within a month? Never underestimate out of shape gamers and their energy drinks.

OHSHI- that is a crazy amount of life and dmg in Inferno…but I will conquer it! in the early days of D2 is partly how I earned my name I have been using for now 12 years and I will give new meaning to my name!

With the difficulty progression, I’m hoping that my Monk character will be extremely important for healing my team as the game progresses in difficulty.
I’d have found it better if they would have put the dmg on a lower basis but same scaling. (millions of health, dealing ten thousands of damage seems meh, in particular that this will even rise with addons)
It’s a hoop. Years and years after the feature should have been in the game. That it’s difficult, or easy, is kinda moot.
