I think you are confused. I don’t serach the auction house just to resell… I search it for what I need to beat the lower levels faster and then resell it for way more than I paid. I also sell rares I find. I don’t just “day trade” as it were in the auction house at a low level that would be ridiculous.
Basically how it works is, find the best stats for your level at the lowest price you can. Use them until its not worth it, upgrade and resell for more than you paid. I understand its useless to day trade the auction house at a low level. But its useful (and time saving) to find the best gear possible at a low price when your at a low level and then resell it.
Been playing this game non stop. WD, Act 2 Inferno, etc. Loving it.

My first normal run was about 24 hours I think, explored every corner of every map and talked to people when I could, didn’t find all the journals I’ve figured out now though.
Yeah, their DPS is higher. But for me, when I rushed through normal, I pretty much ran past most of the mobs. If you try to do that with a dps class friend, he wouldn’t be able to survive the large amount of mobs.
If you stay and fight stuff, yeah, it’d be faster to have someone with a higher dps to help.
That’s why I turned off quick join, so people on my lists can’t just join me whenever they feel like it.
No I’m not, I thought that would be the case, which I already factored in for my post. Those equips you’re purchasing at your level, would at best increase your progress marginally. Getting slightly stronger equips will not help breeze through the game, will the damage increase even be enough to lessen 1 attack animations on a normal monster? And being a monk, you definitely don’t need better armor than what you pick up at that level to survive. Think of it this way, at level 25, your equips would be used for maybe an hour or two before it is rendered worthless and have to be resold. And clearly, with your initial post it showed that you spent enough time in the AH to get a feeling of the market demands, so chances are, you’re spending more time than what it is needed in the AH.

Tired of farming Act I/II for gear, doing Monk Hardcore now.
Haven’t touched any fighting games for two week straight. 115 hours later I am back for a short break then back into the grind.

Well it does seem to make it faster plus take into account I usually don’t play for more than 1-2 hours a day and I’m playing with my girl who has never played before it does seem to speed things up when I can clear whole packs in under 5 seconds. I see what you are saying though. Hopefully it just means I’ll be godlike at lvl 60 auction house
I get rolled in Inferno act 1 10-0, took me forever to beat the skeleton kings and the elites destroy me. Where you guys think i should farm? Just go back to hell and do warden-butcher runs, or should i just keep doing the quest where i have to go into the crypts in inferno? I’m rollin a monk with 1325 dex 750 vit and 130 resist all
I could use Reckless Hold. Not a huge upgrade for me, but the crit chance and crit damage would be nice.
Spend some gold. You probably picked up 1.5-2million gold by the time you hit up Inferno.

man that treasure goblin farm in act 2 inferno is tooooo good. that shit is going to get nerfed. been doing it all day. he right outside of ancient waypoint.

You definitely need higher resist, pick one resist and start stacking it. Look on AH for items and you should be able to find some decent resistance/vit/dex for 50k. Watch those 2d auctions especially.
