Just commenting to say that I love the mobile browser version of the forum and front page. I lose access to a computer every other week due to work, and I’m honestly not too fond of Tapatalk. The new mobile layout is great, at least for me. No complaints about it.
As far as the non-mobile version…it looks like there’s still some problems to sort out, but I’m sure it’ll get done in time. As far as everything else, I’ll get used to it like I got used to every other change I lived through.
A watched threads page and alert fixing please. Back to the old ways. I don’t need to see whenever ANYONE comments. Only when I’m quoted, liked, or the comment is the first new one.
I’m surprised that people have an issue with a time stamp. I pretty much have to quote people because I’ve seen too many ninja edits for no reason followed by “you didn’t read my comment!”
Also is there a way to clear/delete drafts. I’ve had an auto saved draft keep showing up in my comment box but I can’t find a way to easily remove it. Where are drafts stored?
SRK step your fucking game up. How do you go to Vanilla Forums’ website, see this as their featured image on their landing page and think, “THIS IS GREAT! We’ll not do ANYTHING like it!”
What you really need is a revision history that’s accessible from the post itself which shows all the edits that have been saved. I’m all for a timestamp and a revision history. The timestamp only answers the “when” portion of the question (“oh, this was changed on …”), but doesn’t answer the “what” (“what did the changes look like?”).
