It’s kinda funny; at first I thought Nemesis’ theme was just a sped-up version of his old theme. Then I actually listened to it.
Whoever put that dubstep part in is a better troll than the man who composed MODOK’s theme… Unless they’re the same person.
It’s generic rock melody, it sucks and it’s trash. Deal with it and sit down sister.
You’re right, we should totally judge whether a theme is generic or not without taking its vocals into account.

EDIT: Also, rock is a huge genre that is difficult to define, but the melody to West’s theme is not conventional by most standards, if only because it’s so Goddamn awful and structureless.
