Gun List
Quite a bit of information still to come out about this game and how different classes work. I enjoyed BF3 personally and pretty much dropped other shooters to play the game. I personally like the more team oriented approach BF3 took, but it has some flaws. The Recon class was supremely underpowered and was almost useless in objective games, if not for spawn beacons and motion detection devices. Certain glitches still remain in effect to this day, for example getting under/over the map in Operation Metro. I still feel Helicopters and Jets are too hard to fly for no apparent reason in BF3.
I do like the option to pick different knives so that I am not killing people with the box cutter pro. The option to reverse knife should be an interesting feature and may discourage the people that intentionally let their teammates die to get those tags. I am not sure how I feel about the new class structures. I felt the class structure in BC2 was actually better then the BF3 implementation of them. Obviously opening up more accessories can go either way, there is certainly be possibility of having quite a few useless attachments that all do the same thing, or finding one that is OP.
It will be interesting to see how the guns stack up with all the reclasses. Semi Auto Sniper rifles being available for Assault is interesting and PDW’s are now I believe an Engineer exclusive. This could possibly once again nerf the fuck out of the recon class though. It will be interesting to see what DICE does with this game.
Please keep the COD bashing to a minimum.
