Sweet. I just got mine and couldn’t wait to build a new stick so I put it into an existing stick but now I have to figure out a clean way to install and have to drill another hole for ps home button. Very happy with this. Thanks ShinJN.
Hey all, basically I am concerned about soldering wires again after at least 10 years ( I used to be manager at a Cyberstation/Aladdin’s Castle) That and issues with the batteries inside the sixxaxis controller. It’s just that the wireless stick possibility turns me on more than Gabrielle Union and I just have to have one lol
If you get a package c there is no soldering required.
You put your wires into the terminal strip and screw them down.
Only thing you would potentially be soldering (unless you bought wire with QD’s and a daisy chain) would be wires to buttons (or to QuickDisconnect’s) Or you could squeeze/crimp the QD’s onto the ends of the wires ?!
Then the other end of the wires goto the axisdapter (which is clearly marked for each of the buttons )
Then you take your sixaxis, open it, unscrew the board, pull the plastic membrane out and the axisdapter just plugs into the flat flex connector on the board (where you pulled the plastic membrane out from) using the included flat flex cable its really easy.
btw: there is a mod to press home = start + select, just do a quick search.
It might save you cutting up your case LOL
here is my setup hope you like it thanks shin!!!

The battery is no big deal, it’s a battery pack. You can velcro it in the T5 case somewhere. As Milkham mentioned, you have to be a bit creative with the USB mount so that it’s accessible without opening your stick everytime you want to charge it or sync it.
Working on a T5 wireless myself and that USB does pose some challenges.
How do I order one of these adapters? I PM’d shin a few times and haven’t heard back.
thanks
Hi everyone, I have been taking some time to relax because between work, life, and these boards, I haven’t had much time to myself or time to get adequate hours of sleep. I’ll be responding to e-mails in a few days and will resume board assembly.
here’s my first custom stick!
the box is australian oak and mdf. seimetsu buttons, sanwa jlf, axisdapter and wireless ps3 sixaxis.

sorry the pics are just from my camera phone…
Thanks, ShinJn - Got my 2 AXISDAPTER’s!!! I can’t wait to get to work!
So, uh, does that mean you have a 360 TE pcb you’re looking to trade I’d love to get my hands on it if you still got it.
SHIN! thanks bro I got my adapter on monday. I shall post the finish product soon!
Other44, That’s a clean setup you have inside of there. Anyway here is a few pics of the inside of my box. Happ Comp buttons, sanwa jlf, axisdapter and the ps3 sixaxis of course. The box is made of cheap wood from Lowes, lol. The top and bottom are made of a hybrid mix of a plastic sheet sandwiched between two alumuminum sheets. I put plexi on top but accidently cracked it and will need to replace. I still don’t have an image to go over the joystick screws. I kinda like how it looks as is so may just leave it.

Just get have a short usb cable inside the case and mount one of these onto it:
http://www.neutrik.com/fl/en/dataconnectors/210_t2_987072893/NAUSB-W-B_detail.aspx
That way you don’t have to worry about some awkward pcb placement just for the usb connection.
so i have a few quick questions…
if ive read right… i could buy a 6axis controler, the board in this thread, and an imp board and stick it into my 360 se stick and have a stick thats compatable for both systems?
http://forums.shoryuken.com/showpost.php?p=6497317&postcount=44
ive seen the post above that has a basic wiring diagram for the mc cthulhu board with the 360 te/se board and the imp…
would it just be similar to use the sixaxis mod instead of the cthulhu?
would there be any draw backs or advantages to using either board?
just finished performing a wireless mod for the same guy that bought my original Tekken 5 stick. Takes me about 3 hours now from start to finish to complete everything. Getting the USB port on there is pretty easy once you get the hang of it, also alot ot hot glue helps

The Sixaxis doesn’t have a common ground, all the AXISdapter does is make the solder points easy to access but it has multiple grounds. Not ideal for a multi-console stick, just for a wireless PS3; unfortunately.
ahh… so then best bet for 360/ps3 se goodness is the plain ps3 cthulhu board and the imp board…
then use bombermans guide (http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=184787) to install…
ok… thanks for the info… sounds good…
Yup, you just sacrifice the PS3 wireless (if that’s anything you’re at all concerned with).
