It is that easy, make sure to use the correct ground for as the left (L1,L2,U,D,L,R), right (R1,R2,X,Circle,Triangle,Square) and center (start,select,ps button) controls each have a separate common ground. I believe the start, select and ps button can use any of the 3 grounds on the AXISdapter.
They have these at fry’s (outpost.com), radioshack should have them, and a google search for cable sleeving should find you many places to buy them.

An update on the boards:
For those on the pre-order list, your wait is almost over. I just received the black colored boards and I have a white and a green batch on the way. This gives me roughly 140 boards and this should be enough to accommodate everyone. My screw terminals are arriving tomorrow (hopefully) and I’ll get to soldering boards for those wanting a C kit. A and B kits will be packed up and all packages should be ready for shipping this weekend.
I would like to thank all the supporters for your patience and wait. I know that ‘waiting’ seems to be a popular trend as of late. Time is one thing I’m lacking due a full time job and family. What drives me is you guys (and gals =D) and your support.
If you want to cancel your pre-order, that is fine. There’s no obligation to stick with me. Just know who brought you the first AXISdapter. =D
