Toodles has done tests that show there are no lag issues with SIXAXIS and 360 wireless controllers. Another user on here has modded his VSHG with a SIXAXIS and AXISdapter. It’s in this thread somewhere.

I have no noticable lag, but if you want specific comments and tests, check out gns’ commentand Toodles’ tests.

In practice, everything is roses - save for those annoying times that the SIXAXIS chooses not to behave. I can play flawlessly on my AXISdapter’ed stick from about 8-9 feet away at my place, but I bring it over to my buddies house (PS3 and controllers) and sometimes, the controller likes to act up. It’s rare, but I tend to lose rounds when that happens. But this is a problem that the SIXAXIS has had from the start - not something with the AXISdapter.

Yea I found out about the movement issue the hard way I just clipped the zip tip really, but it’s still snug on there.
Didn’t know why my character was constantly crouching haha… I thought it was faulty wiring at first.
I wonder if you’re about to disable the joystick without losing the directional function.

Hey boogahh, I had a similar issue when I dropped the sixaxis with axisdapter into a old hori vf4 (ps2). The profile is really thin and the analog sticks would constantly be activated when I closed the bottom.

What I did was take a wire cutter and clipped about 3/4mm from both analog stick tops and that seem to fix the problem … of course this means you can not put it back into the original controller … not that anyone would want to after this mod :cybot:

I’m a newbie and have been trying to customise my sixaxis for SF4!

Quite unsuccessful so far, already toasted one sixaxis lol!
Tried manually soldering the wire on the pins (1 - 20) but a couple of them came away from the PCB! lol
Amazed at your work in making our lazy sods lives easier! :o)

Nope the only thing I had to cut was the middle-top peg where it screws in the metal plate. Then I mounted my femable b to mini usb female b usb adapter on it.
Oh I also had to trim the opening where the cord use to come out of so my usb adapter would fit.
