Captain/Dorm/Hawkeye is the best order. Dorm is a decent anchor, but does better with Hawk assist. Hawk is a good anchor.
It does. I had more fun using Doom as anchor than any of the other strong anchors in Vanilla like Akuma, Wesker, Skrull or Dorm. Itās just for tournaments the durpier anchor is usually better and then just try to DHC or TAC Skrull in if you really donāt want to have to use him as anchor and give him an assist.
Iām running Zero(a)/???/Vergil(y) and i need a great beam assist, and i was going to pick up iron man pretty soon and i was wondering if iron man would work in my team with his unibeam assist?
Also Iām interested in making a team with Ghost Rider, but I have no idea what characters work perfectly with him, so can anyone give any suggestions for characters that work perfectly with Ghost Rider?
I think i found the ideal team for Deadpool. Deadpool (Happy Trigger)/ Doctor Doom (Hidden Missiles)/ Amaterasu (Cold Star). Iāve been in the lab for three days straight with this team and it embodies and extends Deadpoolās gameplay. It builds on he keep away capabilities and generates mix up situations that no other two characters can.
Deadpool is gonna be playing keep away for a good majority of the match with doom assist. I like hidden Missiles for Deadpool because it helps out when you are fighting teleport characters since they track and they help you out in zoning if you make a mistake in anyway (throwing a ninja gift). I believe deadpool doesnt need a horizontal neutral assist of any sort due to the fact he can teleport cancel his own guns so I like doom to cover the deadpoolās weak spots, the ceiling and super jumps. Let me clear something up, DO NOT SUPER JUMP WITH GUNS UNLESS YOU HAVE DOOM ASSIST OUT. Deadpool cant block on his way down and people know this so people will try to catch you on the way down, missiles keeps you safe/ creates a bait and tackle situation. Missiles also cover your teleport the best for Deadpool. due to the fact the his teleporter malfunctions every 3 times missiles covers you for the entire duration of the explosion and gives you enough time to forward roll The missiles give you a second chance at opening up your opponent when you shoot them with guns on the ground and teleport cancel. This is a 2 part mix up (4 part if you count the left/right of the teleport) call doom, guns, teleport (in front or behind) go for an overhead or low if blocked/pushblocked teleport (in front or behind) again then go for a high/low again. If you teleport and call Doom at the same time Deadpool has enough time to blow up, get up and still do things while be protected by the missiles, if the enemy makes the mistake of blocking the missiles on the ground there is enough time for Deadpool to roll forward dash and then go for a high low mixup with about 3 missiles left to cover you and make it safe if you go for the overhead (this is sequence is starting from Fullscreen btw).
People argue with me saying that doom beam assist would be better for deadpool because he can teleport willy nilly. Deadpool is a keep away character with rush down abilities not the other way around. Deadpool needs someone to help cover the ceiling of the screen and to help cover his faulty teleport. Plus the missiles create mix up capabilities anyways so it seems irrelevant to have a beam assist for Deadpool.
To be honest what makes this team for Deadpool is the reset with Amaterasu assist. [media=youtube]5qgc5EZdG8E[/media] do this combo but at the end instead of TK super do a katanarama -> chimichangas call Amaterasu assist and do a slide as late as possible but still hits. You have a range of 3 - 6 things depending on screen placement(this reset is extremely potent if you start the combo anywhere from midscreen to the enemiesā corner because no matter which way the opponent techs they cant get out of the reset they have to block properly). What you can do here to mix them up (they should be barely off the ground at this point). you can stay on the same side and go for an air grab if they block, dash under (Deadpool dashes so low he can get under his opponent) and go for a low or an overhead (by the time the active frames for the overhead comes out they should have just touched the ground from Amaterasuās assist ending), you can teleport to the other side to set up a mind game for later when you teleport to the same side and make them block wrong. Your worst case scenario for this reset is that your opponent blocks and push blocks you, which is fine since Deadpool likes to play the ranged game and you just tagged them for 550k with good screen positioning. Iāll try to make a video about this reset but I donāt have capture gear so it will most likely be filmed on a potato but its better than nothing :).

Point/Doom/Ammy always works.
Magneto works very well with Vergil. He benefits greatly from Rapidslash assist, and even though Magneto is second, they also have good DHC synergy (like Magnetic Shockwave to Devil Trigger or Spiral Swords or comboing Magnetic Tempest into sword loops), which then gives you Vergil with disruptor assist. Canāt see why Zero wouldnāt benefit from disruptor assist either.
Dormammu. Try and find some Zak Bennet matches so you can see the synergy.

anyways, Ive come to ask for some suggestions. Here are the characters im interested in / willing to play:

Nowā¦before anyone starts jumping up and saying " you could literally put any three of those characters together and make a solid team" (sans Storm / Dorm / Phoenixā¦all three are too meter dependant), Ive got some other things to add.
Ive got a pretty firm grasp of all of these charactersā¦id say the one that needs the most work is Tony (for reasons Ill get into later).
The actual TEAMS I thought of involving those characters are as follows:
Mags / Dorm / Dante
Dante / Morrigan / Phoenix
Firebrand / Mags / Dorm
Dorm / Storm / Morrigan
Mags / Dorm / Wesker
Morrigan and Tony are āstarredā because they have always been my favorite characters ever. Ive played them in every game theyve been in and stuck with them loyally. The problem with this is, 1) I dont want to play hella lame keep away shit with Morriganā¦Im not a big fan of keep away. I like to go in. 2) Character loyalty asideā¦Im pretty convinced Iron Man is completely and utterly pointless in this game. Literally everything he can do, someone else can do betterā¦and many characters can do EVERYTHING he can do betterā¦much better. I honestly believe the single thing holding him back the most is his aerial movement speed. The dudes trijumps are SO bad. His ADD is decent, but you have to work your way in, and its pretty hard with IM. I would LOVE to main him (and ive tried) but I dont have fun playing as him. Hes too bad in this game. Morrigan on the other hand, im still completey willing (and wanting) to useā¦Im just not sure who of the other characters she has synergy with (aside from meter building for Phoenix).
Phoenix is starred becauseā¦Phoenix is a boss. Shes got everything I love in a character. Shes got trijump mixups, good normals, great movement in general, and unique tools (traps, homing fireball, etc). The single obvious issue is: you need to build a team around her. I would use her, but I dont know if I really want to take that high risk high reward gambleā¦I think its too much of a double edged sword for me to use herā¦I would prefer moreā¦stability (and freedom) I guess.
There ARE other characters I really like in this game, but I dont feel are worth the effort when I could most likely get better and more consistent results with the higher tiered characters I like as opposed to the lower tiered characters that I REALLY like.
Sorry for such a long rant, but I just wanted to explain my situation. Thoughts, suggestions, advice ?
P.S.: Please dont suggest Doomā¦I cant stand him. Max is always talking about oversaturated characters ? Doom is #1 when it comes to oversaturation. EVERYBODY plays the guy, and a lot of it is thanks to the personality he gave doom in his Assist Me vidsā¦not hating on max himself, just the character.

Of the teams you listed, hereās my two cents.
The strongest and most overall balanced team is almost definitely Mags/Dorm/Dante. All three of them are powerful in their own right, Magneto is a great point/battery character for Dormmamu, who is easily the biggest meter hog on that team, but he makes excellent use of it. Dante has some of the best assists in the game and is a pretty decent anchor overall. If I had any suggestions for this team, I would actually say switching Dante and Magneto might be worth considering. Dante is also a great meter-builder, he and Dormmamu have better DHC synergy, and I think Magneto is probably the best solo character in the game, making him a really solid choice for anchor. But really, this team is pretty versatile.
If you want to stay loyal to your succubus queen, then I think the Dorm/Storm/Morr is the one to go with. As you mentioned, Dorm and Storm are both pretty big meter users, but with Dark Harmonizer in the back, that can be pretty easily mitigated. Your damage output on this team will take more work than the first suggestion, but itās still viable.
And I totally feel you on the Doom thing. I think heās an incredibly strong character with (in my opinion) the best assist in the game, but that guy is EVERYWHERE. I hate fighting him.
Are there any assists that can hold opponent long enough for Hawkeye to call in the assist, otg poison arrow, assist hits, poison arrow, assist continue, S?
Or (non airborne) l,m,f+h,xx poison arrow, assist hits, poison arrow, continue, S?
Something kinda like Iron Manās repulsar assist but less random and lower to the ground would be nice.

Been messing with Dante(jam)/Doom(missiles)/Vergil(Rapid Slash), having a lot fun with it. Is there a better order that could be put in or better assists that could beneift the team more?
Hey guys! :] Just jointed SRK after being a browser for a while.
A team I like to play (well, one of the only teams that I *can *play) is Chris (Machine Gun)/Ammy (Cold Star)/Captain America (Charging Star). These assists are completely subject to change, as is the order. Iād like to hear any advice you guys may have on how to optimally play with this team. Iām pretty much a beginner, or at least working my way on to becoming intermediate, so thereās tons of things that I donāt know, especially regarding team synergy.
I appreciate any advice you guys can give! :}

I suggest the order to be Cap / Chris / Ammy.
Cold star will help both cap and chris get in, and itll give cap relaunches in the corner. the DHC Synergy seems to be okay between cap and chris, as long as you DHC a hit or two early. Ammy works everywhere for free. Cap is a pretty decent point character who can blow up traditional zoningā¦the only thing he has trouble with is superjump run away such as trish. I like the fact that your team has a pretty high average health, itll be good to have. Cap combo dhc chris should kill most of the top tier characters, sans wesker / dorm / frank (if you consider him a top tier characterā¦I only really consider lvl 4/5 frank to be top tier). Other than those things, just make sure to get really really solid with all three charactersā¦none of them have anything really abuseable or too cheapā¦Ammy is an amazing character, definitely, but when she doesnt have an assist backing her up she can have some issues, so learn how to play her as a stand alone character. Learn how to deal with certain tactics / character archetypes, etcā¦and this doesnt mean just spam Okami Shuffle against run away tacticsā¦yeah, okami shuffle is great, but depending on the character your playing, they can punish you hard for it. Invincible hyper Xfac > dead ammy. anyways, just some thoughts from looking at your team. best of luck =)

Thanks a lot for your advice! :] Iāll definitely try swapping the order around like you said; it actually was that order when I first started, but I ended up putting Chris in front so I could improve upon him and I found him for a while to be a fairly nice way to begin the match with his projectiles. I know what you mean about mastering the characters, though⦠Chris in particular was tricky to get down for a while, and thereās a lot with Ammy that I need to learn in regard to switching her forms and learning more advanced combos.

Maybe you could run Cap and Nova with Dorm as anchor. Hes pretty damn good in that spot, with his teleports and stalking flame setups, or he can chip characters to death with XF. Iāve lost to him like that numerous times haha. And maybe you could extend some of Caps combos with the Dark Hole assist, but thatās just an idea. Or you could try to incorporate Taskmaster into the mix, or add Skrull as anchor. Hope that kinda helps lol
I really like phoenix, but I feel like trying to play Dark phoenix is pointless with all the anti technology. So I want to use her as anchor, but as regular phoenix anchor, thus using meter with my other characters. I love the feel of magneto - his combos, movement and fast normals - and adding drones makes him really silly.
So how is Magneto/sentinel/phoenix?
If youāre really serious about running Jean as her own character (which is silly, but I guess itās possible), then I actually might suggest swapping Phoenix and Sentinel. She can get just as much use out of drones as Magneto, if not moreso.
But just to be clear, youāre still better off trying to get her Dark.
DP is not pointless yet. No one uses the tech (for some reason), so for now sheās still top tier.
I know you see people like pr rog in the perfect position to tac xf cancel when they get a hit on a 5 bar phoenix and then they just kill them or go for thc mixups
