I’m not entirely sure what you mean… do you mean the spinning knockdown DHC glitch?
In all seriousness, Haggar/Hulk/Arthur sounds like it could be good…?

Chris can anchor. But it’d be wiser to do Chris Vergil Morrigan.
Chris is a good battery and with say Rapid slashes can keep opponents at bay for chip. He has a very solid air throw that can be followed up easily for damage and boy does he do great damage. Magnum is a devasting assist punisher. Capping magnum to tk’d magnum to another Magnum is painful.
SMG can cover Vergil’s assist while he pushes them away. which will leave them full screen which can be enough time to dump a land mine or fire grenade.
Morrigan pumps meter so that Chris can Sweep Combo if needed. His hyper takes long enough to potentially allow Vergil a guaranteed follow up after THC for a high time to another maximum Vergil.
He also has enough health to give him a chance to survive a combo.
Give him a shot.
Tasky is another guy that can do it. But while he’s a better anchor IMO than Chris he would again do best on point with again Vergil shoving people out so Task can shoot arrows and force mistakes, example: attack, as they block call Vergil, cover with Aim Master L or H, free aim master, call Morrigan for meter.
He can be a good battery and has OS throws with SHIELD SKILLZ. and at anytime he has air throw/throw tk legion arrows, Aegis Counter/Shield Master to Legion Arrows for quick punishes. With Morrigan feeding meter these can happen much more often granting easy, moderately damaging punishes when a full combo punish isn’t an option. He’s also pretty damn easy to play.
Nova Frank Gepardo might work better. If shit hits the fan Frank is fucked as anchor and Wolverine gives no fucks with Berserker Charge and will definitely rape shit with Xf3.
Going for two Aerial Exchanges doesn’t sound like a good idea. 1 sure. Two is pushing it. Especially when either Wolvie or Nova can get Frank up there real quick with just one exchange.
Berserker barrage would likely be a free camera snap for frank?
Nova combos, Exchanges to Frank who finishes combo, call Wolvie, snap pic for otg/level up and Berserker barrage hits long enough so Frank possibly gets another camera shot or if it ain’t enough time just hit’em them with the Halal Cart.
Reset opportunity might be combo with Frank, call Wolvie Tornado Claw assist into Frank’s Servbot helmet hyper? Lab time for you.
Resets dont sound worth it for this team. Nova hits hard, Wolverine doesn’t need them, and Frank wants levels so he can start dealing heavy damage.
Assists:
Nova
Centurion Rush assist hits overhead.
Or the one that wall bounces.
Frank Cart.
Wolvie is likely barrage.
Frank also gets easy lvl 4 off of Novas bnb , just end the combo with nova sphere DHC early ( if u cancel nova sphere early its a hardknock down) do Franks survival techniques , it will whiff , and u have plenty of time to snapshot .
Hi guys! Help!
I’m presently doing my final work for my examination in game design school and I am in need of finding playtesters to evaluate my game! What I’m making is a game (or actually two games, but you’ll only need to play one of them) in RPG Maker, in which I’m experimenting on how to balance storytelling with gameplay.
The game prototypes are to be finished in week 12, and in week 13 it’s time for playtests (it’s now week 9)… so, I need participants! Help me! The playtests will be done through the internet one way or another, followed by interviews where I ask the testers what they thought about different aspects of the game. The interviews will be done through e-mail or some chat application, alternatively through private conversations on this website.
If you want to playtest, it’s important that you appreciate offline RPG:s (such as Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Nier, Eternal Sonata, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, et.c). Considering the nature of the genre, a playtest will probably take quite some time (expect 30-60 minutes).
At last, you need to fill out two questionnaires to be a playtester, which asks you about your motivations for playing offline-RPGs - the game prototypes will actually be based on what motivations offline-RPG-players have. You will need to fill in your e-mail address in both questionnaires for me to be able to reach you afterwards.
Here are the two questionnaires:

They’re short and only take about 5 minutes to fill out, if not less.
I hope there are some who are willing to help! Thank you in advance!
***I’m aware that I’m posting something completely irrelevant to the subject of this thread, and I’m sorry for that, but from my experience of talking to fighting game-players on PSN and XBL there are quite many who appreciates offline-RPG:s, just like me. :)***[/FONT]
Hi guys, could you assist me with my team and gameplay? I am still a novice in Ultimate.
My team is: Vergil (Rapid Slash), Ghost Rider (Chain of Rebuttal) and Wesker (Samurai Edge).
Vergil is one I won’t replace, because he is very good as a point character. He builds meter quickly, and uses it well. My goal is to have a team that supports Vergil well, with assists and good DHCs.
Ghost Rider is the master of keep-away game, and he DHCs well after Vergil’s Dimension Slash with the motorbike or the Hellfire Maelstorm. His Chain of Rebuttal assist is really good: it comes fast and causes an useful wallbounce.
Wesker is the best anger character in Ultimate because of Level 4 XF, and his Samurai Edge assist is godlike for extending Vergil’s combos. Unlike Strider, he only needs 1 meteor to be awesome (Strider needs 3).
I am thinking of changing Ghost Rider with someone else, but I don’t see another character that fits that role as well as Ghost Rider. I used Doom on my first games, but I dropped him because I don’t like his spamming gameplay.
I also used Strider instead of Wesker because of his Vajra assist, but I started to use Wesker because it is more practical.
Can you help me with my team? Thanks!
(English isn’t my main language, so if I committed a mistake, don’t laugh at my face lol)
English is not your main language so I will try to keep my information simple to prevent confusion.
Vergil is possibly the best character in the game to be second in your team. He can DHC at anytime to Devil Trigger or Summon Swords to protect a team member.
Sounds like you like Ghost Rider. Stick with him. If not, consider Hawkeye or Taskmaster. Either way that person goes first.
Wesker can be a fine anchor and his assist leads to easier combos. Should help Ghost Rider more then Vergil.
Order should be Ghost Rider (Chain of Rebuttal), Vergil (Rapid Slashes), Wesker (Samurai Edge)
I’m currently running taskmaster (h.arrows), vergil (rapid slash), and strider (vajra). I know task and vergil have really good synergy, but my question is does strider fits with these 2 or is there a better anchor, besides wesker of course lol.
Casual doesn’t mean beginner it mean that it’s not a competitive match because one or both of the player isn’t playing at a competitive level Thus making the game pointless in the sense that even if the Pro is Pro the match is lame and casual.
Eh I ain’t sure about what you talking about but I believe Jill Cinematic Level 1 Hyper can cause a large Hit stun after the DHC but you should talk with a really good Jill player and I aint one just saying what I saw somewhere else! ^^ (Jill Thread)
Also In all seriousness Every Team can be good (See RoyalFlush Modok,Thor,Joe team)
Wesker can still help Vergil alot:
s.H,6H,S,H,S,hj.MMH,2H,Samurail Edge,s.6H,S,hj.MMH,2H,s.3H, Maximum Vergil.
or if you feel Crazy and got 5 Level:
xxRapid Slash, Devil Trigger , H,S,H,S,hj.2H , lvl 3 Hyper , Samurail Edge , 3H , Maximum Vergil, XFC Maximum Vergil.
Oh, OK. Thank you!
(And does Royal Flush do well because of the team or because of the player? Personally, I’d say that it’s the player; any player can be good with any team, it’s just that… team composition determines what your options are and how well you can capitalize off of things, so teams definitely help.)
TBH He is pro because he trained hard to make that Team work.So if you train 20 hour a week on a team you can make anything work.(also 20 doesn’t look like much but i’m only talking about Actual Training and not playing)
Doom with Plasma Beam. Assist Task with chip/Zoning and allow free teleport mixups for Vergil, safe dhcs with Finger Lasers for either, and damage with Maximum Vergil to Sphere Flame.
Well, I actually don’t like Ghost Rider. I don’t like using him because of his spamming gameplay, and I am trying to change him. I am thinking on Ryu, because I already used Hawkeye and I don’t like him either. Do you think Taskmaster is the best to replace Ghost Rider?
Thanks for your help!
Taskmaster is awesome. You can control space with arrows, counter reckless attacks with shield master/Aegis counter. His sword gives him good range and he has a very good air throw. You can also option select his regular throw with Shield Skills.
that isn’t a beginner, infrit is a very respectable tournament player.
I’ve been thinking about using Trish/Viper but i’m not sure who my anchor should be. Currently using wesker, but I was thinking about using Dante instead because wesker is kinda useless with viper.
im messing around with zero, firebrand, ammy …but after watching sams club’s zero, im realizing im not gonna be able to do any of that with that team though my team does have some unblockables…
I never understood the point of needing HP as an anchor. That only matters at like lower level of play when people do shit combos.
All anchors die when hit as long as meter or XF is available. The only issue you really have to worry about is less resources spent if they decide to snap your anchor. Which then just make sure you know escapes or have the other 2 characters strong enough to make up should they try to snap and kill him off. Strider assist is such an oppressing assist though that it shouldn’t be that big of a deal.
Thanks, and I usually have 5 meters when I use Strider b/c my team is a great battery. I am also good with Strider, even without XF.
Have you thought about using arrow assists such as Hawkeye, Taskmaster, Arthur, etc.?
