hey guys … just thought id mention AE is finally in london … i rinsed out juri a bit to see what works and what doesnt …
in general: she is as sexy as ever now. generally feels faster, and seems like she has less recovery on a few things.
i did this one combo where i went for: jf.HK, cl.MK (cancle 1st hit) EX low fuhajin … and the fuhajin bounced like it would from a cl.HP into low EX fuhajin in super. it might have been character specific (i swear i cant fricken remember who i did it on and its pissing me off) but if that acctually works or theres a setup to make it juggle like that without the enemy being airbourne that means you can easily dash in for more damage with an EX pinwheel
another thing i noticed is feilongs chicken wing. it seems like cr.MP punish trades more … it pissed me off
the cabinet was only single player and the difficulty was set up to 8 got a chance to play it all the way to seth then got blown up from all the laughing around the room. but i hear in a few days time they will connect it to 2 so we can have propper vs. and i can test things when its not too crouded … (it was nuts today … lol)
on a side note: all meaty and fuzzy guard fuhajin setups i did worked just the same except the fuha raise ones where i had to slightly alter the timing.
i want to experiment more but generally… she played the same but with a hell lot more options (and speed … i dont consider the speed change little … maybe im more sensitive to speed since i used to main dhalsim … lol )

I said before in regards to the juggle off fireball kick, its only good that you can hit confirm a expinwheel, that and the negative edge U2 setup in the corner. Theres not going to be much else of use with fireball kick juggles except maybe double fireball store resets in the corner or something.
In super if you pick Vega, do cl.st.hp xx exfireball xx dash forward once (not FADC) xx expinwheel not all the hits will connect and it doesnt get as much dmg as going straight for expinwheel. Id imagine that setup is about the same, also you would need to store a high fireball to get it out, so theres little practicallity in it.

Fuck fuhajin changes. Man. I can’t reset with fuhajin kick off of j mp anymore. That’s my bnb!!! I’m sad. Store >store is nice but I miss the reset…
Walk speed buff helps my footsies nicely.
I really want to see what else she can do with those fuhajin changes. I’ll be going to my arcade once AE gets in, in like a week.

You can’t hk pinwheel off the fuhajin kick alone. Maybe off the fuhajin release juggle. I won’t be using that unless I know it will hit and I don’t have a fuhajin stored.

Why? Because its more comfy to store fireballs and press other buttons that way/deal with it.

Shame she isn’t getting many buffs, I’d love a bit more priority on her jumping MK & MP… seems like they lose out to a lot of other characters jumping normals.
Some invincibility on her Super would help and improving her EX Pinwheel would help her wake up game immensely :crybaby:
My friend mains Makoto & Sakura so he is overjoyed with the changes, I was hoping for more buffs than she got. You still have to work much harder with her than other characters. I like a challenge but after a day of dodging fireballs only to get hit in the face by a dragon punch it gets kinda old.
Gonna keep training till shoto’s are no longer a problem, better walk speed should help out though :woot:
j.MP actually does have good priority, but it depends on how you use it. It’s best when you’re hitting your opponent from above with it, so it’s pretty good for jumping in, as well as a couple other situations.
Not to mention is a great safe jump.
Shotos aren’t a problem. Gotta know that once they’re in on you it’s bad (Ken is horrible). But they have hard times getting in (Ken is easier)
Just zone em out, bait the dp, use fireball store to make em second guess the dp. At most it will trade. Ex dps give me problems though.
