hastings got better when he channeled that palmer integrity? - otherwise he was wayyy too by-the-book, and by the time he realized chloe (and by extention - jack) is always right, he got fired.

I did not see the reason for Logan to kill his boy that was doing his dirty work…seemed out of place.

Latter = easily the best death in the series. Watching that for the very first time was like nutting for the first time, except I still have the sensation of the Bauerkarana every fucking time. :pleased:

If a tier list is involved with CTU bosses then Mason is automatic tops; he manned up in a big way with making up with his son, giving Dessler invaluable advice on life and ordering Jack to be a man again.

BEHROOZ’D - A term coined meaning the inexplicable disappearance or removal of a character or characters from the rest of the show without any explanation or reason.
BOBBY HILL - A name for Secret Service Agent and Veteran Aaron Pierce. Looks like a middle aged Bobby Hill from King of the Hill. Appears from season 1-7.
IMHOTEP - Another name for Habib Marwan, whose actor played Imhotep in The Mummy.
SETTING UP A PERIMETER - A bad idea. It doesn’t work and terrorists will always find a way to pass it. Marwan escaped perimeters multiple times during S4. It would not be the last time as other characters have escaped in later seasons.
CUEVO GOLD - Tony Almeida’s alcoholic drink of choice after he’s broken up with his wife and is living with some RANDOM GIRL.
ONE BILLION CHINESE - An arch nemesis of Jack. Made their first appearance in S4 and certainly not their last on 24.
SHOULDER TACKLE - A move invented and employed by Tony after he was caught and handcuffed by Mandy. Almost defeated her but eventually had to be saved by Curtis’ DASH UPPER. Jack would later attempt this move on his would-be executioner during the 24 finale.
Season 5

SHOT IN THE NECK - First appeared in S3 when Tony got SHOT IN THE NECK but survived. Triple P was next in line to get shot. Unfortunately he died and his death was the basis of S5’s story. Certainly not the last time somebody would take a bullet to the neck. Curtis was shot in S6 by Jack who then proceeded to vomit gastric acid! Nothing else was expelled because Jack doesn’t eat. He only drinks the blood of terrorists.
REDHEAD MILF - Diane Huxley, the woman Jack rented a room from when he was living under of the guise of oil worker Frank Flynn. Desperately craved for the BAUER SEED.
BUCKY - Bill Buchanan. First appeared in S4 but became CTU Director starting in S5. Another fine member of TEAM BAUER who sacrificed his life and was given a silent clock in S7.
ROBOCOP - Jack’s old mentor and another badass villain, Christopher Henderson. Didn’t give two shits about his wife and let Jack shoot her in her kneecap! Played Robocop in a past life, hence the name.
SAMWISE - Lynn McGill. Had a crackwhore sister and got pimpslapped by her pimp into a dumpster when he went to give her some money for more crack. Had never met Jack before in his life before the day but was ready to give his life away after speaking with Jack for 30 seconds to save the rest of CTU from the nerve gas. The BAUER SEED crosses both genders! It should be noted this was not the first time it has happened. PAUL RAINES in S4 saved Jack’s life, despite knowing that Jack had been porking his wife! INCREDIBLE!
BATSHIT INSANE MARTHA - A mental state held by President Logan’s wife Martha Logan. We caught glimpses of her insanity in S5, dunking her face in the sink, hiding in the stables, and generally freaking out over everything. But her insanity did not fully explode until S6 when she stabbed her ex-husband in the shoulder with a fruit knife!
ONE MINUTE PRESIDENT/PUSSIDENT/PRES SLIMEBALL - President Logan has many names. Those are just a few of them.
Season 6

KUMAR - A minor character and terrorist at the beginning of S6. Played by Kumar. Didn’t even receive the honor of being killed by Jack, was shot by a no name police officer.
COMMANDER LOCK - Walid Al-Rezani, Sandra Palmer’s boyfriend. Got curb stomped by a bunch of angry Muslims at a detention camp for collaborating with the west.
EJECTION KICK - A move used by Jack to kick a suicide bomber who wanted to blow up a subway train.
THE NADIA - Not much to say about her except that she was HOT and stayed hot for the entire season, even when she was getting tortured.
LIQUID BAUER - Jack’s brother, Graem Bauer. Wanted Jack dead and was the one pulling the strings in S5.
BIG BOSS BAUER - A name for Jack’s father, Philip Bauer. Killed his own son LIQUID BAUER to keep him quiet and attempted to kill Jack and save his third son*.
- BIG BOSS BAUER’S third son was supposed to be JOSH BAUER! Yea, the writers were planning to put that in but decided against it in the end. Would have been a major WTF if that had come to pass.
QUAN CHI - Abu Fayed, actor played Quan Chi on the show Mortal Kombat: Conquest.
ROLENTO FINISH - The super Jack uses to finish off Abu Fayed.
CHENG’S DYNASTY WARRIORS - The group of men sent by Cheng Zhi to storm CTU. Led of Captain Zhou, they killed Milo Pressman but Jack soon liberated CTU from the spread of communism.
Season 7

ZOMBIE TONY - Tony, who apparently died in S5 was resurrected as a villain for this season.
BOSS MOSS - Larry Moss, the FBI head honcho. Disagreed with Jack’s methods at first but later converted and joined Team Bauer. As expected, soon after receiving his Team Bauer membership card he was killed off by ZOMBIE TONY and his sidekick TRACY MORGAN.
SENATOR RED FOREMAN - The senator who was leading the hearing and prosecution of Jack for his liberal use of torture and violations of human rights. Like BOSS MOSS he started off as an antagonist to Jack but saw the light and joined Team Bauer. Holds the record for shortest serving Bauer member, at approximately 30 seconds as SENATOR FOREMAN was promptly killed by an assassin.
BILLY OCEAN - Name for the President of Sangala, Ule Matobo. As you may have guessed he looked like Billy Ocean.
CANDYMAN - African warlord General Juma. Led an elite team and I do mean elite because they infiltrated the White House by WATER. General Juma also played a police detective in S3 but he is most known for his role as CANDYMAN.
FIRST PENIS - President Taylor’s husband Henry Taylor. Stood tall and erect and was determined to search for his son’s murderer. Became flaccid for the rest of season after he was kidnapped, circumcised (finger cut off) and shot by terrorists.
FIRST BITCH - President Taylor’s daughter, Olivia Taylor. Had a bitch look on her face for majority of the season. Was given a timeout by her mother at the end of S7 and by timeout I mean she was sent to prison.
DARK PHOENIX - What Renee Walker became after she got SHOT IN THE NECK by Jack and buried alive at a construction yard. Was saved by BUCKY and Chloe and was adminstered a Phoenix Down. Renee, who earlier received a bit Jack’s PSYCHO POWER when he choked her out rose from the ashes and became DARK PHOENIX.
DARIA - Janice Gold. A potential rival to Chloe and her HAX skills. A recipient of the Level 3 BAUER YELL when she complained about breaking rules and consequently SHAT BRICKS.
DR. QUINN MEDICINE MAN - The assassin sent by Jon Voigt’s character Jonas Hodges to eliminate a squealer (SCREECH) who was about to be interrogated by Jack. Was successful in his assassination. He is also the one who elimiinated SENATOR RED FOREMAN. A great adversary to Jack, he had to be finished by the following move…
ULTRA COMBO - The move Jack used to kill DR. QUINN MEDICINE MAN. Involves first trapping the victim inside a trailer, then a bulldozer followed a Blanka leap, a screwdriver to the chest and finally a 2x4 clothesline.
THE PATRIOTS - The end bosses to S7. One of the Patriots was Alan Wilson, who Tony had been tracking for a number of years. Tony captured him and was about to kill him when he was stopped by Jack. Then sent to FBI where he was interrogated and almost killed by DARK PHOENIX.
T-VIRUS - The virus the terrorists were planning on using and which infected Jack. The virus clashed with his inner Psycho Powers and thus Jack suffered from seizures periodically for the latter third of S7. Eventually Jack was saved from the T-Virus when his Daughter Kim turned OROCHI and gave some of her cells to Jack.
Season 8

MILLION - Another name for Arlo and what he does during a normal day at work. Spying on sunbathers with drones and checking out co-workers.
BUBBA - The director of CTU New York Brian Hastings. May also be known as THE HUNCHBACK OF CTU as he was constantly hunched over when speaking with others. After he was relieved of his duties at CTU he went back to work on his Shrimp Boat.
STARBUCK - Dana Walsh, who was Starbuck on the show Battlestar Galactica.
K-FED - Dana Walsh’s Redneck ex-boyfriend. Hobbies include beating ex-girlfriends, freeloading at ex-girlfriend’s house and getting stabbed by Redneck crime buddy.
CHIEF JUSTICE - Name for Russian Mob Boss Sergei. He IS THE LAW, as evidenced by him killing his irradiated son. Was father to another son ADAM MONROE, who appeared on HEROES.
PAROLE OFFICER MILTON - The parole officer who called STARBUCK when he was searching for K-FED, but we presume it to really be his stapler. Got BEHROOZ’D when Dana was revealed to be a mole. Did Milton ever find his red stapler? Did CTU ever find his body? We’ll never know!
PRINCESS JASMINE - The daughter of President Omar Hassan. Like NADIA she didn’t do too much during the season excect look hot throughout.
SITH LORD LOGAN - Logan, who had completed his transformation into a Sith began his work by corrupting and turning President Taylor over to the Dark Side. It almost worked until Taylor watched Jack’s confessional video and regained her principles and integrity and backed out of the peace signing. The final season also marked the second time Logan was kidnapped and bugged by Jack and the second time he attempted suicide. This time he actually goes through with it but like the bitch President he is he couldn’t even kill himself properly.

Terri giving it up in S1 but the amnesia sucked too. But I still like how the producers showed Kim in the end, believing in her papa.
yeah it was the worst season by far. Plus even though season 6 wasn’t that great, the first 4 episodes were some of the best 24 of the whole series.

Logan killed his boy because he didn’t want anyone to be able to find jack. Only him and that assclown knew where he was.

Since i love Counter Strike…him wall hacking that fake FBI agent has a special place in my heart too.
Rewatching season 1. Damn. I didn’t fully realize how clutch Tony has been. He saved Terri right before she was going to be killed AND he saved Jack when he was escaping with Audrey.
