Palmer folded on having Chappelle killed faster than Superman on Laundry day, and Mason only manned up when he realized he was dying(which happened only because he was running) and there was no way out. They would understand a few hours of weakness.
I look at the Hassan coup plotline as toeing the line between right and wrong. Peace in the Middle East (word to 1990s slang) is a noble goal for civilization as we know it, but the people closest to Prez Hair recognized who in the IRK would specifically benefit from cooperating with the West. Tarin wasn’t a brainwashed fanatic-- he observed Hassan and saw a guy scoring political points with the world stage, at his homeland’s expense. It’s similar to the sedition plot in the US. What the general and the weasel secretary did was ‘wrong,’ but they avoided turning NYC into a microwave oven, decimating the US economy and getting thrown into a war with baically the entire gotdamn Middle East. Hassan said that they do things differently in fictional Middle East state, but maybe the sedition plot is the ‘apple pie’ equivalent of what his opposition tried to do.
I’m just saying that Hassan was a flawed character. I gave him points for owning up to his mistakes, but I see Agent Pierce (is this the first season he’s not on the show?) as the rock-solid pillar of integrity on this show, and Hassan doesn’t hold up in comparison.
My point is Pierce hasn’t been tested on the same level and wasn’t born in the same circumstances. Life isn’t back and white, and 24 is the perfect demonstration of this.
finally got caught up on this weeks episode and man, WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
great episode, Dana is a great heel (i hate the bitch)…but that ending scene was, just wow…
i cried a couple tears…
wow. thats alll i can say.
wow
fake edit: now its time to watch next weeks previews
wow.
holy shit, i just realized there is 8 more hours…wtf are they gonna go from here?
and we have yet to see the most shocking moment of the season? HMMMMM
So when the heck did they switch Hassan to the other car?
Dana called the two guys to meet them in the garage after she called Tarin. They did the switch as soon as he drove into the garage, then Tarin tried to escape before Jack’s mighty Hyundai showed up.
Oh yeah, final episode spoilers are out, be on your guard.
Damn, that was fast.
Wiat, what? that wasn’t the season finale? (the 2 hour ep last week?) there is MORE?..
Wow. WTF are they gonna do now?
Just watched the last 2 hrs, wow… Was almost shocked on the same level as The Shield’s finale where Shane off’s his family Benoit style. Non stop action from the beginning to end, good stuff. Brought back memories of season 1. 24 was always missing that shock factor that I, and Wes Craven, had been missing. Shock factor, Jack being right, Jack building his killstreak, Renee, all good stuff.
has anyone heard plans to bring out past seasons (before 7) on Blu-Ray?
The King is dead. Long live the Queen.
Get it, Jack.
Poor old dude
Oh, and is it just me or do Renee’s tits look waaaaaaaaaaaay bigger this episode?
With the wrath of 1000 gods, Jack!
I hope what I think is about to happen doesn’t happen.
jack didn’t bust yet
Fuck this.
I can’t believe it actually happened.
This show is dead to me. Fucking dead.
wow, this episode sucked for jack. next episode is gonna be fire though
