Now that’s what I’m talking about! Finally a solid episode!
Really no complaints, everything about it was good. The Prez’s speech was pretty sweet and the action was great. So I guess Jennie/Dana is working for the la-li-lu-le-lo?
EDIT: That goes for the disposable general as well.
Pretty good episode. Loved the action and hated Dana as usual. I like how Dana’s character portrayal has completely changed to this [media=youtube]A-sO9__4Cis[/media] It’s like she doesn’t even know how to act as a counter agent.

[details=Spoiler]HAHAHAHA. That general fucking doubted Jack. Then he, Red, and Hair take out his “elite” team.
I thought the sub-plot was surprisingly good. Still, the President should have hammered home her point that the terrorists can’t be trusted. Not only could they still denote the bomb, there’s nothing to stop them from making another demand. That’s something only David Palmer brought up. I don’t know why the other Presidents never talked about the possibility of another ransom.
I wonder if Jack will betray Hair. He has killed someone to appease a terrorist to delay an attack.
Since it looks like this season will wrap up with these terrorists as the final bad guys, I think I know who the movie will feature. My guess is that Dana’s employer will be the true big bad that Jack will discover at the end of the series and take down in the movie.

[details=Spoiler]- President Skirt channeling some of that Palmer integrity with her speech was one of her best moments on 24. Nice to see her using real world logic on the rest of cabinet. Yeah, them giving up Hassan isn’t going to stop the terrorists from detonating the bomb anyway, or making further demands. Ironic for her to have the most balls out of everyone in that room.
Also liked how Ethan detected the bullshit right away from the COS and the General. He saw through Olivia Taylor’s bullshit last season, nothing they say now is going to get past him.
Shootout in the underground tunnel was awesome. Felt like it was straight out of a video game with all the cover that was conveniently placed there. That’s two episodes in a row Jack’s gotten into a lengthy firefight. The kill count is climbing again!
Next week’s preview looks hype, 2 hours![/details]
Yeah her cute face and cut yet still feminine body is always used a plot sacrifice in everything she’s in. Oh well…
I like Taylor’s gumption, she takes no sass from terrorists.
It’s pretty obvious that Dana is working for the Patriots. Only they have the resources to fabricate someone’s background from the ground up like that and her concern over keeping cover trumps obeying the terrorist “leader.”
The Patriots need to go down, and go down painfully.
The only thing I didn’t really like about last night’s episode was the conveniently timed heart attack, and one that was so bad that THIS time he couldn’t get to his pills in time. I dunno, maybe it was the stress of the situation, but still.
Otherwise, though, good episode, though I did feel really bad for female cop chick. That sucked.
I really liked that speech, was delievered very well, definitely some good acting there. I kinda wanna take that scene and put ‘america, fuck yeah’ as a backing track…
It’s rare that I harshly criticize this show; srk loves to hate the hell out of everything…but this shit with Dana is just still coming off as randomized garbage to me. It really seems like a last-minute change to me… it feels so disconnected from the previous “Dana/Jenny” character…like if President Hassan wasn’t the actual president of that country…he was simply a crazed fan that did plastic surgery to look like him, and we find that the true Hassan has been dead for the past several years. It’s just feeling like random, last-minute write-in in the worst possible way. The sooner her character is dead, the better…then, I can just pretend she never existed in the 24 universe…like the average DBZ fan does with GT.
*I’d hit though, of course.
I wonder what’s up with Nina and other past 24 ladies these days? This show has had quite a few sexpots over the years.
Yeah, for example, unless she really actually fell in love with Cole, there’s no way she could have faked being in love with him for that long without Cole noticing SOMETHING. Unless, of course, the dating period was really short or Cole really is that gullible.
I think it was back before season 2 the actress that played Jack’s wife expressed her concern of where 24 was going because they wanted to cast more attractive women for roles.
