That was badass. Reminds me of the 24 I used to watch years ago.
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!
CTU got fucked up!!!
WHOAH.
[details=Spoiler] The terrorists just shut down the Matrix on that ass…a critical play that changes the game, folks!
This also looks like Dana and The Fresh Prinze may be in the clear, as that EMP most likely fried the evidence that could’ve ruined their lives forever!
[/details]
haha, and that Parole Officer Guy sounds like one of Hank Hill’s buddies on King of the Hill.
T minus one hour until Division gets involved; there’s no other way!
he’s Bill.
Ep was so-so.
Give Jack a little info, and he figures out a whole plot before anyone else. Yawn.
wow so boring and lame…filler ep ftl…
ending was allright tho even we’ve seen “CTU getting owned” so many times before lol…
about ep
Spoiler
The entire 12 episodes are tied with S6 to be THE WORST 12 eps of the entire 24 series (if you haven’t noticed already, the series has always been segmented in 12 hour chunks just in case Fox axed the show before the finale), but this ep sets up something interesting, where everybody has to rely on Jack using his OG playbook to save the day. The new CTU was annoyingly high-tech and I kind of knew something like this was going to happen to it. If nothing else, the rest of this season should be all Jack till the end. We’ll see.
Taito, its your avatar from Predator or some junk?
Damn, CTU is awful. S2 it was a bomb, S5 it was gas, now this? Ugh worst security ever.
i love that one guy who was like I CAN DRIVE IT OUT OF HERE
even though there was 8 seconds and then he didn’t even try to move the car at all
holy fuck them terran ghosts need to be nerfed.

You can’t really blame CTU for this one. What were they going to do, turn away the President’s daughter? Where’s she going to go? Tarin told her there were more dissidents in her father’s administration, so she wasn’t going to call him. It was a good play by the terrorists.
Predictable as hell but entertaining. Sgt. Blowhard getting pwned and then Jack seeing through the American accent ploy was great.
Deus ex machina for Dana was lame, only adding to the total lameness of her subplot.
Red Stapler was ruthless, they should get this guy on the interrogation team with Jack!
How long until you think they get their systems “back online”? No way Fox has the money to switch sets from CTU, so the EMP isn’t likely to have actually blown out their systems like a real one would have.
Anyhow Season 8 Part II: LONE WOLF AND CUB should be good!
Yeah, they had me fooled. I me, seriously, how many of the other people who were evil got punked super fast? The evil Russian guy who Walker killed, the Russian dude’s son, Farrad, etc. I totally believed Tarin was dead. I thought to myself, “Oh, another guy who finally did the right thing and died super fast.” But they actually got me this time.
But yeah, CTU got pwned again. CTU sucks, man, but glad to see that Hassan’s daughter lived, if only so we can hopefully get more screen time for her.

I actually liked this episode. Hype was consistent, ending was crazy.
24 tricked me, I thought the parole officer was the guys dad or something where he was gonna pull out a gun and blast. But he is just a sad loser. Terran with the double flip flop is too good.
Nice episode. Soap and Price gotta assist Bauer now with this EMP going off.
If you’ve ever been around a federal building, you’d notice that they have barricades that prevent a car from being parked right next to a building, and especially next to sensitive equipment. The more I think about it, the more ridiculous it is to have a parking lot next to the front door-- for a ton of reasons, not just a bomb threat.
At the same time, an EMP activated at a distance still would’ve shut CTU down, so the same effect would’ve happened if CTU was designed closer to reality. That whole ‘holy fuck the bomb is right outside our doorstep!’ thing was just dramatic effect.
I guess I was too annoyed with Dana’s terrible subplot to enjoy this episode. There was no reason for her to not just tell security to send Stapler guy home, or to tell him to get a warrant or WHATEVER excuse simply by the virtue of her workplace. So annoying…even more than Chloe’s face. Man I liked this show, too…FOX always puts in maddening elements to their shows to make them not 100% likable. Hopefully Jack redeems it over the next few episodes…
Man this ep was boring until the last 2 minutes.
I do not understand either how Dana can keep talking to Stapler, it makes zero sense when dealing with a nuke.
