I was curious about Hodges’ brief shoutout to President Noah Daniels. Combine this with Daniels’ “heart not being in [the campaign against Taylor]” from Redemption and the rapport that Hodges may have had with the previous administrations…dare I say, Evil Daniels 2.0?
Well two of the three were surprise kills on scrubs. And the only reason I don’t count Davis (who is the second Malcolm in the Middle character to appear be named and killed off) is because for a brief period he got the drop on RE5 Tracy before getting taken out while on the radio.
I see Tracy lasting another episode or two under Tony’s guidance but he at best is at the level of a named field agent rather then a psycho in training.

A Noah Daniels shout out is cool, but I was a little surprised by it. I remember a couple episodes back President Skirt was talking about Starkwood and how the government basically made it what it is today, through granting contracts and passing laws, etc. I thought it’d be Logan who was the one passing those laws, but I guess he was only making deals with Liquid Bauer*.

Hodges’ female attorney shows up and she along with Tony, who is involved with her, go MICHAEL SCOFIELD, or JACK BAUER IN SEASON 3 whichever works, and break Hodges out of the White House prison. In return Hodges reveals to Tony the location of the people responsible for Michelle’s death.
- Does Graem Bauer even qualify to be compared to Liquid Snake? He seemed cool in S5 but was bitched out in S6 and lost his wife to Jack. Even without seeing Jack for years, she was begging for the Psycho Seed almost immediately once she saw him again.
The only thing he can’t escape…

I think he doesn’t, all he really did was pull the strings from behind the veil and trick Jack in interrogation mode. For him to be Liquid, I would think he’d have to had stayed around for a bit longer and actually gotten his hands dirty in a Bauer like fashion. More like Solidus because he apparently was copying his Big Boss Bauer but not Liquid.
Now that I think about it, Nina is actually more Liquid then Graem. Various near death escapes and was a pain in the ass for a good while.

How can they do the 24 movie without Jack if the writers (a couple of seasons ago) feel that Jack ultimately will die? Keep in mind that was pre-pre-pre-Writers’ Strike and thoughts may change, so we’ll see.

I don’t get the “JACK MUST DIE!” sentiment. 24 likes pulling the rug out from under us, but having Jack die at the end would be kinda cliche.
24 has never crossed into the sci-fi realm, and I hope it never does, but at the very end if Jack does die, it’d be kinda cool to see him walking into the light or something, and then have THE MASON, TRIPLE P, and other members of the 24 MAUSOLEUM come out and say “Welcome home, Jack.”
