Actually, there were more agents in 24’s white house than the actual white house when I visited lol. I might join the FBI if every chick in the Bureau was like Agent Red Hot Tamale. When President Skirt asked Jack if he had a daughter it looked like Jack wanted to say he had a useless daughter… lol

In S5 the limo he was riding in with Charles and Martha got demolished by machine guns, a rocket and a flamethrower and he still came out with a pistol killing two or three of those guys.

Dude got tortured and still was able to assist Martha in that same episode IIRC.

I was honestly hoping Goddess maker Voight was going to be the vice president. It would have been cliche, but I think Rich White Guy villain needs some kind of edge to make him stand out. Wouldnt be surprised to find out that President skirts daughter is working for Goddess makers company.

I never thought I could enjoy a season of 24 after experiencing season 6 but I am happilly mistaken. Best show on tv AGAIN!

Did anyone notice that they brought back that agent that apprended Jack Bauer (and held him in the boiler room after Bauer was forced to fake Senator Palmers assassination) in Season !? That’s awesome. Not quite as awesome as bringing back that detective that apprended Wayne Palmer’s girlfriend, but awesome none the less.

Nah, the reason why 24 started to suffer is because everything was about escalation. S1 was actually pretty small-scale if you think about it. Then from S2 it turned into a one-up show, to the point where when we got to S6, it’d gotten old. It’d probably gotten old by S4, but both S4 and S5 threw in some other things to distract us from that. Think about it - they set off a nuke in downtown LA in S6, and everyone was just like “yawn.” WTF kind of TV show can say that they bored their viewers with a nuke?!

I think for S8 they should take it back to the small-scale, personal level. We’ve got a cast of characters who the viewers are invested in, and who have relationships with each other, so we don’t need some kind of grand, over-arching terrorist plot that has to one-up the previous seasons. Just make it insanely personal.

Dude, I have been saying this from season 4. I loved Season 1 because it was the total opposite of the usual “world is going to end” bullshit. Season 1 was all about protecting one man, David Palmer, and that made it personal. And awesome. Then they just went bigger and bigger, and it got sillier and sillier. After the debacle that was Season 6, I was REALLY hoping they would go back to that formula. And I guess they kinda did. After the “CIP” bullshit, Jack has really been protecting single people.

The way her Veep was talking to his chief of staff after signing off with the FBI I doubt he’ll be in charge for even a second, unless it involves the FIRST PENIS’s renewed ability to sustain his erection of life. However, the writers whore that 25th Amendment to no end since the epic use in S2 so who knows.
