OFFICIAL 24 Season 7 Thread: Dead Or Alive?

I…forgot. its for someone dying? ryan chapelle got dat clock??

Yeah I think he, Tony and All-State were the only ones that got it.

Matt McKenzie (Auron from FFX) played a secret service agent last season, when Lennox and Reed were looking to take Wayne out of his World.

…wow, the same season Nancy Cathwright (Bart) was cast. S6 is jokes

Mason didn’t?

To be honest, I don’t remember much from S1-2 since I never finished the whole season due to work lol. It’s a crime.

Wha…Nancy Carthwright was on 24 Season 6?
How did I miss that?

Because it was during a shitty subplot, Chloe N’ Morris. She was Morris’ ex-sponsor.

Silent clocks: Teri Bauer, Mason leaving CTU for the last time, Chappelle, Deadgar Stiles
Almost silent clocks: Palmer (him breathing), a lost Jack (end of S6, sounds of the ocean), last night

Tony never got a silent. Yet…?

Mason never got a silent clock when he got nuked.

I’ll admit I put off watching Redemption and the rest of the episodes until this last weekend, but damn! Now I remember why I love this show so much. FUCK HEROES.

Oh yeah. The best part was the car escape. “This is gonna hurt. AAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUGGGHHHH!!!”

I believe that Mason DID get a silent clock. I don’t remember exactly if it was at the end of an episode, but I do recall that when he was taking his final leave at CTU and passed the reigns over to Tony, it was a silent clock going into commercial as he was walking out, which implied the end of his services. He wasn’t seen again until he surprised Jack by sneaking on the plane when he crashed it, and yeah then he didn’t get the silent clock. Someone will have to go back to watch the Season 2 DVD to confirm though.

ninja edit - oh, someone else just a few posts above confirmed the silent clock for Mason when he left CTU. I don’t read enough…

Pretty sure he did

I am the only one who heard her breathing when the show ended, or has that been brought up and I’m too lazy to read the last page of this thread. She isn’t dead folks.

No way she’s dead, you can see Jack aim away from her head and her eyes were following Jack and Tony. Either my tv is hella clear cut HD on some BluRay quality roid or you guys are some motherfuckers.

Refer to both mine and Night’s posts. Mason got the clock after handing off his power to Tony, but didn’t get it when he blew up and saved L.A., which would’ve gave him the honorable clock twice, a rarity unless you count Jack losing Teri and S6’s finale.

I started with S2 so I CAN NEVA FORGET DAT SHIT

Anyway, I think it’s safe to say that JACKIE BAUER will re-surface (see what I did there?). The silent clock or whatever you want to call it was dramatic effect to fool us poor souls.

Damn…she is going to wreak massive havoc so hard if and when she returns that PPP might come back to life purifying the entire universe’s eyelids from the epic cataclysm that will unfold from absorbing PSYCHO TERRORIST BAUER’s manly infusions of destiny.

they really should use that silent clock a little more sparingly, uncommon as it is

it’s practically obvious she’s not going to die

Triple P is still wrecking shop on The Unit. Worry you not.

Holy sh…I forgot about this. I recently saw the cover to the S3 DVD and I’m like "WTF…that’s not PPP on the cover." Last time I paid attention he was thinking about going home to be a family man (…) so he stepped down for a few eps or something of that nature. With The Shield and The Wire over with, I can play catch-up now.

Did Curtis arrive in 24 Purgatory yet?

I wouldn’t overanalyze the silent clock with her being dead/not dead as it has been in the past with other characters. I thought it was mainly more about the burial muting out the sound for her for the time being as it seems like that Jack covered her face with the dirt as it went to black.

Not yet, no. They lost a character last season, and they even pulled some trickery when everyone thought they would be replacing him with a chick. Yeah, no. She had one combat op and quickly got phased out into minor character status.

They’ve also been toning down the wife drama bullshit, which is pretty nice.

I haven’t gotten into the season as quickly as I would have liked.

The overall plot seems pretty stale.
