D’Lo, Clarkson, Randle, should be playing way more than 25 minutes. This offense as of now needs D’Angelo to get the ball more often, you can’t develop somebody is they’re drafted to be a franchise point guard and all they do is sit in the corner ask for the ball, and not get the ball. I liked what D’Lo did last game when he had the ball. He can’t develop or show off his talents if he’s not getting the ball. Randle was super nice last game as well. It’s just he needs to get more play time. Clarkson is Clarkson has looked superb despite the situation, he’s run the ball up more often but it’s clear he prefers being the 2 guard and not running point. He’s fine because he can do a lot without the ball anyway it’s just D’Angelo who needs the ball for his skills to be shown.
Anthony Brown should get more play time too. He’s only when the game is late in the 4th and garbage time.
Hibbert too he’s only playing around 25 minutes when he should be playing at least 30 since he’s the only realistic defensive presence.
But, if it’s Byron’s plan to Let Kobe jack up shots. Play Bass/Kelly for 30+ minutes a night. Then so be it I guess. Princeton Offense as a whole is not good for younger guys, it excels with vets and experienced players like how the 2000s Kings were dominating with the Princeton. Kenny’s point on Princeton is on point.
Boston has the same issue atm, Brad Stevens is trying to play everyone to appease everyone and is just pissing off everyone. He has yet to settle on any rotation.
I think Byron just wants to make sure they’re stuck down in the loss column before really playing the young guys a ton of minutes, that 2016 pick is too good too pass up
