Official 2016 NBA Off-Season Thread: Westbrook staying in OKC for 3 more years. Confirmed MVP

Watching Kobe play basketball nowadays is like watching someone trying to street race in a beat up pinto with bald tires.

I aint even mad that we lost

This nigga Julius is out for blood.

My conclusion is that LA is tanking for sure.

Too bad we more than likely taking yall first-rounder this year. B)

No…no…no. Nobody is doing that crap this year, we’re 0-3 but it’s not the end of the world.

You and I must be seeing different games or something.

Have you not noticed this during the game?

Randle gets hot and then benched? Great game for him though overall, he should have played more minutes like D’Lo

Russell hits few 3s in a row then gets benched immediately? More confident but it made no sense he got benched for shooting well, we need D’Lo to have more games where he is more confident and benching him while he’s hot is bad.

Nick Young hits few 3s in a row then gets benched immediately? See what I’m getting here

Brandon Bass (He’s not bad, actually solid) and Ryan Kelly as the 2nd Unit Frontcourt with NO Tarik Black?

Kobe not getting benched at all for chucking 3s?

It’s obvious Byron is tanking and his ass is not getting criticized because he’s been part of the organization for years.

Look at James Worthy and Magic they haven’t said anything about Byron because he’s a friend. If it was any other coach they’d diss the shit out of them.

When the team had pringles, his ass would get criticized even if we won the game.

Look at the bullshit he’s saying at the end of the game

Kobe sounds all depressed now

Hell, fucking Flea is pissed

Laker fans had big expectations for the season? That’s news.

At least some improvement, if anything the team took steps down.

Talent-wise WAYYY better than the 2014 team and the team looks even worse.

I mean shit you can edit this article and make it Laker themed and it’d be the same

The team needs a fresh face not past Lakers or coaches with tons of experience but mediocre records or inflated resumes.

You expected improvement when 2 starters are essentially rookies, 1 is a trash can prone to disappearances, and 1 is a 100 year old trying to be a top scorer (and playing SF full time for the first time in his career)?

Consensus should’ve been that the Lakers would be a bad team but fun to watch. Nothing worth firing a coach over.

And anything is better than the 2014 team. This year’s team is actually watchable. At best, this year’s Lakers is last year’s Heat.

Borderline watchable

The only guys worth watching is Clarkson, Randle, Lou Will, Nick Young, and D’Lo with occasionally Hibbert because he actually gives a shit and Hibbert has actually been pretty good for the team.

But overall I can’t stand the rotations Byron has been running because it’s making me stab my eyes out every time I see Bass and Kelly where Kelly ends up and it’s just a shit fest. I sat through that entire Kings game and that final score was misleading to the garbage I witnessed. Randle, D’Lo, Anthony Brown, etc. aren’t even playing enough minutes because he keeps playing vets and he puts in terrible rotations with the vets anyway.

Yeah but the thing is 2014 Heat were good but they had injury problems. At best this Lakers team is a 30 win team (which I would have been fine with but at this rate they’re more like a 10 win team.

I mean look at the pts allowed, it’s atrocious

Byron is not even taking the blame on himself, he’s self-convinced that it’s the players’ fault and not his at all.

Would I see that in Spoelstra? Absolutely not

Where’s KD alpha to give us some excellent lakers insight when we need him

I think Whiteside found his rhythm

The Rockets are looking just as miserable as us right now so he has no room to talk. I would gladly take Kobe’s 31% from the field over Harden’s 22%.

Kobe’s is even 11% better from three this year.

Lil B Curse, it’s mindfuckery Harden is shooting worse than Kobe.

Grizz get that salty runback w the Warriors tonight, but im scared to talk shit cause SSJ3 Curry. Just hope we dont have a relapse to opening night

Houston needs to think of an exit strategy for Dwight Howard, you can see his body breaking down on him and it gets worse every year. I would trade him while he still has value.

You think so?

What would Howard’s trade value be?

I don’t think Morey would trade him unless it’s some exotic deal.

The Knicks and Lakers would take him because they are stupid.

The Lakers wanting Dwight after he ran himself out of LA.

Tip top kek
