And think, can the Cavs really afford that now that the East is much improved?
Everyone says he needs more help, but how much more can you get with 2 other all stars already in the fold? Other teams around the league have the cap space to build and are are making offers. Cavs can’t just go get people because Lebron wants them. He should have stayed in Miami.
Cavs are gonna be average when the season starts. People just don’t want to admit it because they’re still riding the hype from the Finals.
Irving and Shumpert out until January. Kevin Love just now starting to practice. Thompson unsigned and making no progress. LeJudas turning 31 in December, already talking about rest and getting injections. And their bench is trash. Varejao has played 31 games or less in 4 of the past 5 seasons, and he’s basically their primary big off the bench.
Last year they got a boost in morale from trades. This year they’re stuck paying this roster and living with the results.
Yeah, Tavares is very mobile and active for a 7’3" guy. He’s very raw but he’s got potential.
I’m really hoping Heat keep Ennis. He’s been balling hard to be the last roster spot. It all comes down to if Arison is willing to pay the repeater tax. It’s no big deal because some of these guys will be signed to the D-League affiliate anyway.
When someone has the power to ruin your whole franchise just by thinking it, you should be nice to them. Or did you not get the memo of what I’ve been doing to the Cavs since last year’s playoffs.
