Unpopular opinion, but I think GS overall defense is overrated. They’ve got one great individual defender (Iggy) and two good defenders (Klay & Dray), but their team defense benefits from the rate at which they put up points on offense. Teams get out of their offensive scheme just to try to keep up.
Iggy is their best hope in slowing down Leonard. He’ll torch Klay - too strong and skilled for him.
Lamarcus playing D on Draymond and Danny Green taking advantage of Curry guarding him are gonna be key matchups. I’ll be surprised if they put Curry on Parker.
calling draymond green a “good” defender is borderline retarded. he should have been dpoy last year, he had the highest defensive rating in the league last year, and in rating, draymond, bogut, and ezeli are all rated higher this year than iguodala.

I think the key here is how Tony Parker will play. I expect Kawhi to put a solid performance (more on the defensive end actually like last year’s game) but really I’ve seen the Spurs having meltdowns on offense when Parker does retarded plays.

Man, I think hella teams can beat the bulls. I know their record is good, but eye test they have huge issues. As long as you can win at the 3 and 5 positions, bulls are fighting up hill.
Bulls are not that good, but no way should they have lost to a Heat team missing two starters. It just shows how much they’ve fallen.
Festus Ezeli has gotten really decent. Doesn’t get enough credit for how much work he puts in.
The Bulls always tend to play at the level of the opponent and it almost never goes well.

Doesn’t really apply to this one since their opponent has an elite defense, and it showed with them only shooting 39%. Butler was like 5-15.
You would think Bulls would have enough offense to counter, but they played right into what Heat like to do. If a team gets caught in a low scoring trap, Heat usually get the win.
Warriors are basically a younger, more athletic version of the Spurs. That’s essentially what this game is proving.
