Drafting Phil Hughes inhibits my ability to property troll Yankee fans for a fifth of the season. This is kind of bumming me out.
I’d imagine having AJ Burnett announced as your #2 starter is a pretty funny thing to hear in 2011.

Funny for who, exactly? Poor guy is officially gonna be Jeff Weaver 2.0 if he has another season like last year. I imagine he’ll stay shitty after getting shipped to a new team, too. Some guys are just permanently broken after failing in NY. I can sit here as a fan and hope he turns it around, it’s not like he’s lost his stuff or anything like that. But some guys just can’t do it there.
