I am fuming, livid, even. Fuck NHL Gamecenter Live. I’m sick of these fucking blackouts. I missed a 5th of my team’s games during the regular season, and am getting fucked over during the playoffs. $160 down the drain, and my usual pirate site is down. How the fuck are games on the NHL network not included in NHL Gamecenter live?
I don’t care what the NHL’s contractual obligations are, I’m sick of paying to watch games only to have them constantly be blacked out.

yeah man alot of people complain about that shit in canada too. You buy the sports package and get all the sports channels from across canada, but then they get blacked out when the hockey games are on. So your paying to see that channel but they can just block it on you whenever they want.
i’m not living in canada right now, so i gotta stream everything anyway. myp2p has all the games.

In 2006, iirc, NHL game center was worth the playoff ticket, the only games I didn’t get were my local team the Sharks. But now I don’t see any games I can even watch. Most games are being broadcast on versus or NBC. Maybe one game a day, if I’m lucky…
So I passed on it.
I just don’t understand why I can’t watch the Sharks, my local team, on NHL game center. Comcast charges 65$ a month to just get the channels I need to watch my local sports team, the Giants and the Sharks. All I want is those two channels plus the ones broadcast over the air. Basic cable is 25$ a month and in certain areas you’ll get the Sharks or the Giants, but not both, as far as I can tell. For about 25$ a month I should be able to get every game guaranteed for the Giants and the Sharks via the Internet or cable tv. Instead I’ll pay for my internet and rely on the only means available to me.
