You can buy drinks with tokens. I believe it was:
4 = canned drink
6 = juicebox
8-10 = the larger bottle drinks/coffee stuff
-best to ask to double check
The boss also does book keeping for large amounts of tokens. Usually you give them a 4 digit pin + name. That way you don’t have to lug around hundreds of tokens around.
Also the name of the game is Fish Catcher. see here
There’s also a Fish Catcher 2 and both versions come in 4p/6p versions. There are also variations of the series called Ocean Star. see here
this game runs on a luck building meter that you cant see.
you start off smalll with level 1 net. and you catch the small fish thats worth 1-2 token and after u catch one your luck meter builds up to 20sec and you start shooting for more… once your in the hot zone with your luck meter after catching 3 in a row or more. change your net to level 2 and at this point this is where you really make money try to aim for the fishes with the sharks n turtle etc. but once your luck meter goes down you start to go on a cold streak and catch nothing even tho u aimed at the head. so you gotta start back at square one with level 1 net and start building back on your luck meter…
bonus waves should always be profit and good chance to build up your luck meter hope this helps…
haha if it wasn’t then everyone pockets would be full of gety tokens…
so yeah last month I found the rules of the fish game from a site after i came home that i cant find no more, with a vague description about the luck meter building for the fish game.
so i came back and watch this pro played and he pretty much follow the rules by going for small fishes first, building his luck meter and once he got a streak going he change his net to level 2 and would shoot after fishes that was swimming with the sharks or turtles . So its a win win situation if u catch the big one or not then you catch the fishes that was near the target of the big fish e maintaining your luck meter and boosting it to catch the big one next time. Most of the time he would end up getting the group of fishes… but with enough luck building he catches the big pay out once in a while. After he would catch a big payout he would most time runs cold streak almost immediately … and have to start back to level one net catching small fishes.
therefore to succeed in this game you gotta run the rapid shooting, stalling for excess amount of time will lower your luck meter back down to zero and decrease your chances of netting a big fish
Just dropping by to say hi to all my fellow LG goers, I’m the chun player that has been more recently showing up to LG on saturdays. Shout-outs to the guy that can pretty much use everyone, but maining yun (I think), you’re pretty boss at sf man. Also about Fish, don’t bother with it, just sucks up your coins. The kid that was there this weekend who was supposedly racking up a lot of coins spent about 50-70 as I was watching him play, just so he could make it back after with maybe a profit of +10? Anyway, Horse will always = more profit if you bet smart.
denied. was there tonight, no 4th cabinet. props to danny for bringing up the luck meter.
there’s also a lot of hidden bonuses for the fish game. for example, i saw a guy who hit every single wave of the purple/yellow fish when they make a rainbow arc around your turret, and he ended up getting a 70 coin bonus. there was another time when 5 people played at the table and 3 people shot very well at the large waves of fish (the periodic 5 minute wave) and made a lot of profit. those 3 people ended up with a 40 coin bonus. the other two didn’t.
And technically, you can change tokens into cash by selling the tokens out for a better deal ($20 for 120 for example) to those rich kids who goes there to burn money on horse racing/failing the fish game/whatever they do.
Fishing is practically K2’s part time job, he goes to gety, plays a few games of GG until lineup gets too long, sits at the fish game, and call it a night, after making a couple hundred tokens to sell.
It’s fine if he’s okay with it. I used to sell Woody Woodchuck’s and Chuck E Cheese tickets to parents at a discounted rate so they could get their kid the 10000 ticket prize without spending $40 trying to win it from the games and the management basically told me to get lost. So with getty, I’m just checking. I figured he makes less profit if someone who was able to earn a steady supply of tokens from the gambling games was selling them.
