SF x TK will not receive ranking points for Season 1.
UMVC3 will be accompanying the SF x TK tournament.
AE2012 will make a return in Season 2.
Season 2 format will be announced after Season 1 Finale.

The Kazuya / Ling (or any infinites) are nerfed to 2 reps maximum. You must finish your combo on the 2nd rep or your opponent can take the game from you.
You must also complete the Jin swag kick glitch. If you let the the character float, the opponent can take the game from you.

Wednesday Night Fights will feature the return of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition 2012. The scene as a whole has improved in the latest iteration of the SF4 series and we’re continuing the tradition of finding the best SF player at WNF. Next, we’ve held 1v1 tournaments for a title with potential to be one of the best team games Capcom has ever made; so we’re making the switch. The headliner at WNF will be Street Fighter x Tekken 2v2! Choose your partner wisely and become WNF’s first ever tag team champions!
**Season 2 - Road To EVO 2012 **
We’re happy to announce SRK/EVO will be sponsoring both WNF and The Runback for Season 2! That means the overall champions for AE2012, SFxTK, KOFXIII, and UMVC3 will now receive EVO seed points! Season 2 begins March 28, 2012 at 9PM PST every Weds and Thurs on twitch.tv/leveluplive .
SF x TK 2v2 Point System:
Each player will receive half the total points awarded to the team.
Example: Team CaliPower/Potatohead wins 1st place - 50 points total
CaliPower and Potatohead receive 25 points each.
The reason for the split is because many of you will be soul searching for partners all season long. So choose wisely!
How many points do you get for placing top 8 in SF x TK?
1st Place = 50 pts. 2nd Place = 30 pts. 3rd Place = 20 pts. 4th Place = 10 pts
5th Place = 8 pts. 5th Place = 8pts. 7th Place = 4pts. 7th Place = 4pts
How many points do you get for placing top 8 in AE2012?
1st Place = 8 pts. 2nd Place = 7 pts. 3rd Place = 6 pts. 4th Place = 5 pts
5th Place = 4 pts. 5th Place = 4 pts. 7th Place = 3 pts. 7th Place = 3pts
What happens next season?
Top 8 players will be seeded starting in Season 2 and same rules apply to Season 3.
Ranking Point totals will also reset back to 0 after every Season is over.
i had wished you guys had announced this season would be 2v2 a bit earlier, i would think the majority of us were going to enter today under the assumption as a singles tournament
