Just find people who want to play and someone who will run it. GG and Tekken did this right after SB was announced.

What’s traffic like in the area of Momo2? I’m looking at a hotel that’s like 4 miles away and I’m wondering how much time that would translate to in Columbus Traffic miles.
Lol i think it actually is that hard. The only players i can think of willing to run it would be the GG players, but as we all know BB is shunned by GG crowd for some reason lol so they’d be doing GG over BB any day.
Last year it wasn’t bad at all. 4 miles shouldn’t take you more than 10 minutes I’d say.

you might not know this Ghaleon but about a year ago i started these tournaments called T3, the first one was a small 18 man tournament that we basically threw to tune up for SB which was 2 weeks later and we’ve been doing it regularly ever since getting bigger and better, the last one had about 60 entrants … one whole year of T3 tournaments just to get ready for SB… so in a very direct way Season’s Beatings has fluctuated our scene here in Indy in a very active way (thanks)
so we’ve got another one the week before SB so we’re bringing our A-game… most of us are registering this friday the rest are either done already or waiting a bit longer… our hotel is locked in tight (got 2 of em just in case)
im reeeeeeeeeeallly excited to get the details on the Good vs. Evil thingamabob … you got me hooked no doubt… international players can take a backseat as far as im concerned
can’t wait to drag most of Indy with me to break some controllers (we’re bringing out first time youngster with us it’ll be great), can’t wait to play some wicked games, can’t wait to see all my buddies again, can’t wait to smash some MoMo’s cuisine, can’t wait to party against my will like always, and i can’t wait to be shoulder to shoulder getting hype as all hell… i just can’t wait to be… back y’know what im saying?
anyhow Ghaleon let me know if you need anything man, without doubt or hesitation i’m still willing to bring systems and whatnot, and run brackets or help out with whatever… and let me know if you want us to run that MM station man, that’ll blow up just give me the word
GG players shouldn’t have to run your BB tournament, man. There’s definitely people who wanna play BB. Get in touch with 'em and figure it out, see who can bring systems and who can/will run brackets and get word to Ghaleon about it. I’ve got two friends who would probably enter a BB side-tourney if it was $5 like GG.

I tried looking on Tekken Zaibatsu but I couldn’t find a thread on there regarding SB. My attendance depends on T6 sadly, I’m not into trash fighters like SF4 and Mvc3. And if it starts too late I am not coming either. If you could find out that would be great, thanks.

Because i’d have to be a guaranteed GO man. You already know that im looking for a ride, nobody from OK is going, etc… Sure i have a whole console with the game and stuff but i dont even have a CRT let alone ASUS for a single full set up lol.
Not to mention i’ll be borrowing money to go, and the only way i normally get that is with the fact BB is a tournament there lol. Which this isn’t unless, it seems, that I run it.
Nobody needs to bring TVs to SB this year, CRT or ASUS.
And oh yeah, I’ll add GG to the first post tomorrow! I’ll check in at Dustloop as well.
How late did SB run on Sunday last year?
Pretty sure it was past midnight.
^Or at least very close. I remember leaving Columbus around 4 or 5 and getting home around 8 in time to watch BBCS finals, ignore the stream for a couple hours, and then come back to see a good many of the final SSF4 matches.
Guess I’ll be driving home on the power energy drinks.

I don’t think SB lasted until midnight last year. Everything should be done around 9-10 p.m. this year in any case.
