Obscure Emu'd fighter roundup

Alright, this is the very 1st VS fighting game made called WARRIOR - http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=W&game_id=10408
You were a knight and you pretty much had to knock your opponent into one of the bottomless pits and so on? It was made in 1979… I don’t even think 80% of the people here were even born yet! (considering I was only 5 yrs old)

Wow it looks like somebody went to the way back machine for this one.

Kabuki Klash combo video

The video has some nice combos but they mostly require random items in order to work.

Um…anyone know where I can find bios for mame? Namely namco system 11 and 12 (if such exists…I miss playing Bloody Roar).

It looks like I didn’t do my homework! As I just found (and bought) what appears to be IGS’s first 2d fighting game called Alien Challenge. It came out in '95, and has some pretty solid controls, decent character designs (one of whome is an early version of Master Huang from Martial Masters), interesting moves and the last boss, Claus (as in Santa)…Is quite the pain!
And just when you think the game is over? It’s not, as your character turns into Claus, and you have to beat the CPU Claus, and if you do, you get a code that lets you use him…

Overall the game plays pretty good, combos are very easy to do, and it has your normal QCF, B-F, F-HCF and QCB-QCF motions.

I’ll put some pictures of the game up later.

Must of been hard at all to find any info on this game. The game isn’t playable on Mame. There’s no entry for this game at Gamefaqs or KLOV. Coin Op has an entry, but it’s simply a place holder.

Sounds interesting. Can’t wait for the pics.

Damn…if only I could get it. The price on it is nice too.

Very nice find.

Shadow Fighter -

Ahh, the days of the Amiga…

Fightin Spirit is classic!
That guy with the monical yelling "Cynergy!"
Game has to have the worst voice overs EVER!
And that Tiger Elbow literally travels through every projectile.
Oh and let’s not forget… "We’ll see again, somewhen!"

You can get an emulated version of Golden Axe The Duel? I always wanted to play that game on the Saturn.

Here’s another Amiga classic…

Junior - "I own you boy!"

This is re-igniting my interest in getting WinUAE working again. Thanks for the links.
I hope it’s not as hard to get working over kaillera as C64 can be.

Monster Maulers gets major props for the Salamander references.

Fightin Spirit might be interesting for a few hours.

Shadow fighter… I couldn’t watch that shit cause it kept making me laugh. In the first fight every time the basketball player did a special, memory flashes of Emeril throwing powdered sugar on shit or trying new toothpaste kept it too funny.

Is Fightin Spirit emulated?

Yeah, via any decent Amiga CD32 emulator. I believe there is a version of WinUAE that will run it. Oh and if you plan on reviewing it… you might want to check out the move list docs here: http://hol.abime.net/532/miscshot

Good looking out.

Late, but with an answer.

It’s called Ningyou 2, aka Metal & Lace 2/Doll Maker 2. It’s some hentai PC fighting game where if you beat the game with a certain character, you unlock their hentai gallery.

Looks very dead here. Any of you guys still play, and if so, got any recommendations?
