there’s a problem with present evidence tho’, if you’re tossing a piece of ‘good’ evidence you’re just slowing down getting into turnabout mode that much more… you have to then switch back into investigation (which from the sound of it is mad weak) and collect another good piece.
Do you have to regather evidence after using it in Court mode? I think you keep it.
Not tossing evidence. The blue energy projectiles he can use in courtroom mode. Those don’t consume the evidence.
Are there 2 ways to throw evidence then? That would explain my confusion.

My observations so far:
most of his normals have poor range and advancement, but his sneeze attacks have huge hitboxes and seem pretty safe. Air sneeze looks like a legit approach and a possible instant overhead against big guys. His normals are also Amaterasu-level fast and short, meaning that he can probably score hits and get out of pressure up close even if he can’t apply it like a rushdown character would.
Maya assists in investigation mode seem to be unhittable and WILL interrupt opponents offense. Hissy fit hyper looks like it can punish a lot of other hypers due to Maya being unhittable.
His jumping attacks seem to cross up easily too.
Slipping up attack hits OTG or grounds the opponent, not sure what I saw but it definately damages the opponent.
No, so far you only lose the evidence if you use your Level 3. I wouldn’t be surprised if you lost it once the Turnabout timer runs out as well.

Yeah the blue projectiles are part of the mode and doesn’t count as throwing evidence. I don’t think you lose evidence in courtroom mode. Only after throwing evidence or using turnabout mode/lvl 3.
okay, one thing i REALLY want to know, is whether it is possible to DHC out of PWs Gavel hyper?
just the fact that it knocks phoenix over as well, no doubt putting him in a knockdown state, is making me think either you cant DHC into the next character, or that maybe gavel will still hit even if you DHC immediately. or maybe it doesnt… so many questions!
It might work like DHCing Tron’s King Kobun. The gavel will still come out, but the other hyper will start and Wright will leave the scene.
Also, does Maya count as Ultimate’s only new female addition, since she’s a major part or Wright?

Well that is presuming the knockdown is just part of the normal casting animation for him.
Maya looks ready to pop some kneecaps though.
Also, I don’t think investigation stance will be as weak as people are saying. His maya moves in combination with assist placement seem to make for pretty decent combo breakers.
I wonder…if Phoenix uses maya slide or Missile summon alongside C.Viper overhead assist, can he do an unblockable setup where he doesn’t even need to touch the opponent himself?
I can also see some fun being had with the gavel hyper and V.Joe’s bomb assist. Hmm.

I’m imagining some unblockable assist only setups in investigation mode. Mayas low attack + any overhead assist timed right.

Good stuff, all of that (sans that last line, but that’s jut me being a prude with a dirty mind). I must admit that I’ll be some what pissed if his Level 3 does that much damage AND hits everywhere without that much set-up, though.
However, I can’t promise I won’t shoot. Sorry Dave, but I just can’t do that. I “main” Chris. Shooting people is now a perfectly natural reaction to me seeing people make a mistake.

I highly doubt it. She’s more analogous to M.O.D.O.K.'s Barrier, which can take everything but supers and some stray/unorthodox projectiles like Storm’s Whirlwind.
