Nah, he mentioned sheaf having durability increases in Pursuit that stay as an assist, but the forward hand-sweep in paper sheaf makes it look like a finger point, so I can see where that’d be a thing.

UltraDavid mentioned the invincibility as a possibility; I’m a touch skeptical – I think it’ll be more like Tatsu assist, i.e. ‘functionally invincible, but not quite /actually/ invincible.’

Again recommending Trish’s air trap assist in this case. Phoenix Wright can use the area denial to buy himself even more time to search after Round Harvest.

Looks like I’ll be maining Haggar/Wright/Strange o_O

At least he’s not Arthur. Besides, it’s not like Phoenix can air-dash or anything.

EDIT: I actually disagree with him not being able to zone. His projectiles in Courtroom Mode look amazing and seem to do a nice chunk of damage. And according to Seth, there are about 10-15 types.

Yea, it’s not looking good - would probably need a 3rd team, which I’m already eyeing Ironfist as the focus. UltraD has a nice idea with Doom Missiles, though I think Hawkeye, Task, Chris, Sent and probably a few others could be in that spot also.

I was never planning on playing him but I just think it might cause him problems

Has anyone seen what happens with a blocked judge Hyper? Seems to be mad unsafe, Wright essentially gets hard-knockdown’d.

We’re looking at a relatively safe low hitting projectile and an Akuma-esque lockdown for two of Wright’s assists? Wright’s gonna have no problem finding teams to fit in.

its probaly not akuma-esque at all. Probably more “combination punch!”

Press the Witness (appears to be soft-knockdown, combo extender)
“Get 'em, Missile!” (hits low)

LxS, MxS, HxS, for Left, middle, and right respectively…

Wright has an overhead command normal (reminds me of Hakan’s sH). Wright can launch solo off a throw in the corner (like Ammy). S-Kill says that Lvl3 does 600k damage, but requires all three correct pieces of evidence. Normals have long active frames. jS has been seen whiffing on Firebrand, but that may be because S-Kill tried doing it ASAP after S. Guy doesn’t seem to have much in the mobility department, but he can dash, unlike Arthur…

You wanna zone him? That’s cool, brb, lemme just set up maya barrier, call missiles/beam/arrows/etc, and turn into superman real fast.

With mayas shield it doesnt even matter.

This post gave me a series of psychic visions.

I see… taskmaster or hawkeye or doom doing a normal jump, and shooting something that goes perfectly over the maya shield.

I also see uparrows assist or doom missiles hitting him over… and over… and over.

Finally I see judgement cut, purification, or black hole mysteriously laughing at the barrier even though they have neither life nor faces.

Speaking about Maya’s shield, I’ve been wondering what the cooldown time on her specials are. She takes a bit of time to leave after the special is over…
