So I’m guessing noone has xboxlive?
Also I’ve been noticing with Wright when I know I can punish I go for crouching light but it whiff on the character cuz its lack of range, haha does anybody know what would be the go to normal to punish with? Also I think on in coming characters if you’re right next to the corner objection crosses up. I’m pretty I did that

I play on xbl
Also I usually use cr. moves to hit the opponent, it seems to work well when the opponent gets up from a hard knockdown.
Awesome, we should play some friendlies/matches for fun. I havnt really played any Wrights.
And yea c. H does make sense to use.
Well add me any time and just hit me up when you wanna play haha.
If you’ve got a pretty decent window, it’s probably going to be easiest just to launch them. His launcher has pretty decent horizontal range.

Awesome-sauce. Now, if only I wasn’t on a pad, I could do this. (I can only plink with Maya L.)
Can someone see if this combo works? I can’t Maya :h: plink well enough yet to test it myself. This is based off the above combo, but with two starting pieces of evidence.

:d::df::f:+:atk::atk:, :d::d:+:s:, :f:+:h: could also work.
Notations for this video.
Spoiler
Midscreen/Corner, I suggest Corner since it doesn’t require a Dash Cancelled Normal. I used Level 1 X-Factor.

[details=Spoiler]Umm… you kinda mixed up the notations but anyway, here’s my answer:
I tried the first one right after I recorded my Special Quick Combo Video, it doesn’t work. Even if you p-link "M-Maya!?"
2nd Notation: Doesn’t work due hitstun and, of course, timing
3rd Notation: Well, the notation as you put it does not work… BUT! … Remember that you can do the Maya super even if she’s on-screen if you press :a1:+:a2: and… well… I’ll make that a surprise and show it in a while ;)[/details]
Here it is, enjoy!

Edit:
Notations for this video, must have already 2 Good Pieces of Evidence, can be done from midscreen but not really suggested because it needs a small dash and dash cancel into s. , Corner Only is the best way.

*** **= You can add a c.:h: here for extra damage, it doesn’t go beyond 1,077,XXX after the c.:h: into :h:-Break the Witness, though
Didn’t post the attack names cause the post would look longer, lol
If memory serves me right, you CAN cancel a Maya!? into Smelting without the need for a THC.
Still, good stuff. What I wanna know is, after the stun, why you did :d::h: instead of BtW?
Nope, you can’t cancel the Maya normal into Maya Smelting “manually” (e.g. :qcf::h: xx :qcf::atk::atk:) you can only do it with a THC
I was originally considering switching from Press the Witness to perhaps Paperwork or Missile. But now, after using Break the Witness in a few Frank combos, I’m very happy with staying. Gonna look into some PtW combo’s later.
Found a new ToD using 2 bars and 2 assists

Corner only, must have 2 Good Pieces of Evidence…
I used Doctor Doom’s Hidden Missiles assist and Hulk’s Gamma Wave as you can see…
So, if there’s any Wright player that uses those two characters, here you go
[spoiler=“Notations for this combo”]

***** = Recommended to wait a short, little tiny bit for the opponent to fall down or else the combo will drop
Wow. Could ya do me a favor and try to find one with Frank West (Shopping Cart) and Akuma (tatsu)?
Actually, the combo you did above, as long as you had two OTG assists (which those are), would it work? Perhaps miss out of a bit of damage, but would it work?
It might be possible but I’m not sure since now assists are affected by hitstun. I’ll try my best later.
As for the other question, yeah, it might be possible, I’ll try that combo again with other OTG options (except Deadpool because Katana-Rama causes a ground bounce and I need it for the finishing touch.)
Actually, if memory serves me Wright, doesn’t Polt use this team?
Phoenix Wright is such a gamble to include on your team yet I still use him because he is such an awesome character. Its so hype when he gets into turnabout mode.
I would like your comments please and any tips to extend turnabout combos

Your first mistake was making a Wright combo video and not using a song from the Ace Attorney sound track. Secondly, could you post some combo transcriptions (or can someone in this thread do it)?
Any, on to the combos.
First: Nice combo. Could you jump for a throw reset after the end? Maybe get an Objection out of the following combo? Secondly, does the combo only work with a throw? What about a :f:? After an air series?
Second: Dang, Dante’s super lasts a long time.
Third: Good concept. Probably should have just Turnabout looped at the end.
Fourth: Again, much the same. I guess it’s a lot easier to combo into an BttT if you have an OTG assist (pity my team doesn’t have one).
Fifth: Although stun into tag into Wright isn’t new, it’s nice to see. Speaking of which, after Wright gets a stun on a standing opponent, can you tag into combo? What about an airborne opponent?
Sixth: Not really a Wright combo as much as a She-Hulk combo, and DHC to find evidence is far from new, but still, good stuff.
I’ve been thinking about a few things myself. Been wondering if you guys could test some of this stuff for me.
- TACs into Wright into Maya plinking into combos.
- IF you distance yourself properly, you can combo a plinked evidence discard into Maya. Dunno if you can get anything off it. Haven’t tried it up close, either.
- Plinking in non-plink combos. For example, if you look at Lythero’s Phoenix Wright Tutorial, you’ll notice some combos have Maya as an OTG. Can you use plink Maya and still do the combo normally? Landing the Objection isn’t necessary in this transition, but would be cool.
- Most combos I’ve seen involve either Maya OTG canceled into Maya Smelting into BttT, or Maya OTG into anoter OTG assist into BttT. Are there any other ways to land the Objection?
- Not quite related to plinking, but can you land an Objection off an Investigation throw through plinking or whatever? If you don’t necessarily have to land the Objection in the plink combo, could make this more viable in general. Also, fi you CAN land an Objection off a throw, and are going for a throw reset, do you have time to switch to Trial mode before going for the throw, or do you have to make time in the combo?
- All the combo’s I’ve seen are in plink the corner. Are there any viable non-corner plink combos?
Just some food for thought.
