So in search of frame data i only found frame data with startup and stuff like that. Is there any frame data covering stuff like invincibility? They nerfed his BtW assist i know, but did they nerf it like they nerfed Haggards Lariat? Cause that thing is still godlike, even tho they nerfed it. Does it still have SOME invincibility?
It has no invincibility.
That’s strange. It’s still pretty effective as a GTFO assist, so I thought it still had a little bit of invincibility. Maybe it just has a large hitbox and high priority or something?

How easy is to use PtW/BtW in combos, either to start or in the middle of?
If you use PtW at the start of combos, you have to dash after it to connect the next attack, which for some reason never works for me (it’s probably because I use M+H to dash instead of L+M). You can also use BtW after a stun state on the ground for a lot of damage and meter building. The heavier the attack button you use the faster you have to do it though or else the last hit won’t connect due to HSD. I usually use the M version.

Oh. In that case, it’s hard with PtW but it’s incredibly easy with BtW because it wall bounces.
But can you land it in the middle of combos? Maybe ym execution just stinks, but I’ve never been able to land a BtW in the middle of a combo, not even after one of Frank’s absurdly high ground bounces/
It’s somewhat height and HSD dependent, but you can definitely do it. You don’t have to wait for it to finish to continue the combo if the last hit will whiff or something. Some characters it’s easy than others to combo off of because while a wall bounce is great for some character for slower characters like Haggar it’s not that easy.
Good luck to the wright players going to evo. Tbh I implore you to refrain from using him cause you’re just gonna burn yourself out early, but if you make it work then more power to you.
On a side note I went to a tourney yesterday. Got to grand finals in winners where it was ft5 to win. Was up 4-0, then 4-1. Switched to the wright team, and the opponent prematurely burned x factor to kill him.
Wright’s psychological game is at least A- tier
If you’re gutsy/good enough to use Wright at a tourney, people obviously will know it’s the threat on your team.
I would heed your advice, IReidYou, but I don’t know how to play anyone else. Wright/Hulk/Doom is my main team, after all.
Oh yeah, I always find it funny when people use XF1 on Wright when he’s still in Investigation Mode. 95% of the time I end up winning because of that.
I find it funny when even when I’m in investigation mode and I’m on my last legs, I still can somehow manage because Maya’s shield eliminates mix ups… Unless I’m against is Skrull or Wesker (A little). Lol.
No really. The shield really helps in 1v1 because there are no assists going against Wright.
Does anyone know ways to stun in just investigation mode, especially without otg assist
okay can somebody please explain to me why endless turnabout wright is “broken” and not his invincible assist??? @_____@ lately i have been seeing a lot of “TA sans timer would make wright op – but bring back his invincible assist!” and i can’t for the life of me understand how that’s any less “broken”. for the record i’m not trying to say i want either or, i’m just trying to understand why an invincible assist with X character is less problematic than an on-point timerless turnabout wright (hence better balancing as opposed to the latter)

I can see his zoning being much better outside of XF, but I think an invincible assist is more broken, since he’s most likely on anchor and with that you probably don’t need 20 seconds to win with XF3.
