O.O…do u like every obscure game DS?
MvC1 is not an obscure game, it just had it’s time and everyone moved onto MvC2. I played it a lot when I was young and was heavily into it. I do have the DC version here and have been practicing with my Strider/WarMachine team and Strider/CapCom. Still got it. Ah, it’s good to know Strider still has that ridiculous air-throw priority.
Oh, and run ST. I want to fucking practice. A lot. I have to learn that Boxer matchup by EVO World. I can’t afford to lose.

I can definalty generate some interest in MvC 1. We got some guys from Waterbury here that still get down pretty intensly.

At the time that MvC1 was at it’s peak, I was fairly young and poor. But yeah, I never went to ECC when it was in Jersey. There were so many times when I wanted to go, but like I said, I had no money at the time to make it out there and no rooming buddies.
Alex: It’s a bit too early to run AC. The game hasn’t even been out on the PS2 for more than a day. Granted, some have “obtained” the game, but no one is gonna be that good already. I hear AC is like, a whole new thing completely.
thats true DS…but I wanna start getting the scene used to casual play…but I will leave it up to sean to decide I will just hold a GG tourney that week and see what sean whats to use.
for MCV1…if people got the DC I got the CD of it…and we can get more copies and run it.

Ive got two dreamcasts, one modded but the modded one is tempermental. I do have a boot disc for SSII T, and the jap version of MvC1 and 2.
This would be fantastic, MvC2 came out and destroyed MvC1s comp scene which is too bad because there was a lot to learn about the game and a lot more playability. People could beast with almost any character in MvC1, and Shadow Chun and Gold War MAchine were awesome. … Not to mention Zangief was incredible. I remember Viscant had a sick Zangief back then.

^ most converter wont work with your stick. need the “innovation” brand or anything that maps R1 and R2 as fierce and roundhouse.

Actually, they do. At the last w2z tourney, Phil had brought a few converters for Marvel and they worked fine. And I believe those were the Total Control Plus converters as well.

anyways if someone can bring 2 ps2’s and 2 more copies of 3s and CVS2 I would appreciate it. We have 2 ps2’s, 2 3s but one CVS2 :’(
