Hi, I am in NYC for a visit. Wondering if there’s any arcade with s3 near timesquare. I’d like to play some 3s here if theres still a scene for it.
The only place with 3S arcade that I know of is Chinatown Fair, which is a quick subway ride away from Times Square but AFAIK the machine has barely been played since CF reopened a couple of months ago, and the sticks are American/sub-par. You aren’t likely to find people at CF unless you arrange to meet someone at a specified time. Same situation with Next Level, really, as far as 3S goes, aside from Friday nights when even if no one is playing you can ask around if people want to or you can start up the game on 360 and there’s a high chance someone will see and play with you.
My very pretty unclean/smoke-smelling apartment is quite close to Times Square, and I’d be happy to have a console sesh with you if you want. One issue is I only have one stick, so unless you happen to have brought yours or we can invite someone else with a stick, one of us will have to play on pad. I can probably play a decent Ken or Ryu on pad, though.
Anyone who can get to Manhattan and who had a 360 stick have any interest in an impromptu session tonight or soon?
