More or less if I have a reason to. I mean, I probably won’t be during the summer because Ill be home. I live in central Jersey. But yeah, I’d like to find my way into NYC a little more if people wanted to play some.

I was in Chinatown the other day and swung through CF for a few minutes to check it out. The swipe cards are free if you put $5 on them. Are you sure 3S is a dollar? I thought one credit cost one dollar and was alarmed when it said it cost 2.4 credits or whatever, but then I thought it said I had like 20 credits left. I didn’t really bother with the math because I only had a few minutes and I was pumped they had 3S (and Marvel 2). The 1P stick was really tight but I started getting used to it, and the better news is that the worker I met there was quite friendly and made it clear he really wants fighting gamers to enjoy CF, and he asked how I thought the controls felt.
Can we really ask for more than that? It’s an opportunity. There’s arcade 3S in Manhattan and at least one guy at the establishment is intent on the players using it and being happy with it. I hope some epic games are in the cards, but we have to meet the new CF halfway…

This is going to be awesome. 3S is as alive as we want it to be, and huge props to Nica KO for his leadership in getting this together. I will do my best to give all of my support, and others who care about this game please do the same because we in the NYC area are a few of the lucky ones outside Japan who can actually enjoy a thriving community for 3S if we take this opportunity… let’s make the most of it.
I am as happy about this as I was frustrated by some of the crap on the excellent players forum, but I will spare the thread such walls of text and just say YO ULLLLLLL KAKATTE KINA

My car just died and I’m working on getting another one. No idea if I can make it to the first Danisen.
Bring your own stuff like sticks, etc. (if you want to bring crt’s and ps3s, please do)
I can bring a 360 and a dual modded stick. Will bring the stick regardless, but if you can bring a 360, then we will have another set-up. I dunno if it has to be PS3 for some reason (I imagine Sony isn’t sponsoring you just yet? lol). I will have a PS3 in the future but a friend is borrowing it right now.
Edit - Oh actually, I have a PS3-only stick I could bring, too, if that would be useful. Eh, that’s a lot of stuff to carry, but I am close by. Anyway, let me know.
you can bring your xbox and 360 stick for the main stream and i’ll bring my own stick too, i think Frankie might bring his ps3 and some ppl will bring sticks, plus the place has a xbox and ps3 there too but they just need 3s on them and they also have 2 spare sticks so it’s a rly legit place, there tvs are like the ones at Next Level so it’ll be good but i’ll be bringing my own tv to stream from and everything so at most we’ll have like 3 setups
Reminder that this Friday (27th) is going to be the 2nd 3rd Ascension League Danisen Battle at Next Level
All the info is in the thread and on the league website, we’ll be having more than 1 setup this time with crt’s available and good internet to stream so we’ll be able to run everything smoothly. The ranks will be ranging from 1st Dan to 3rd oe 4th Dan depending on how fast everything goes, the rankings are listed here:
