Having the ranking chart at the Dojo is neat, but you know what would be even better? Having it on the internet for anybody to view!
With this in mind, I’ve been working on a flash version of this list for the past few weeks. The chart is not quite done yet, but here is a quick sketch up.
The flash app basically consists of 2 screens - the actual character list where people and their ranks are shown, and a “details” page for each person in that list.
The details page contains a picture of the person (if they wish), some basic info like name, location, online name. The characters that they play, and a small bio. The top right contains their current rank and tier.
Obviously the final version will look a lot prettier. I’m planning on having the first version operational around next weekend.
There will actually be 2 apps - one that will go on the internet for everyone to view, and another one specific to Cole for example that will be able to modify each person’s info and ranking number. All the data is kept neatly in an XML file.

All Cole will have to do to update the rankings is launch his special administrator version of the app, click on a name, then either click on the arrow down or arrow up to move the person in the right spot. Then he’ll click save which will sync all the data automatically.

I believe there should be multiple administrators. 1 North 1 Tacoma 1 Dojo 1 To-fu 1 Portland. It would make life easier. People who win report to their regional admin. Something like that so things keep updated.
Looks pretty cool Mikhail. Id like to sit with you and have you walk me through what you have created. Maybe I can inter grade it into the AfroDojo Website im currently working on. hit me up man!!

If i understand it right… you can challenge anyone really. Matches can be played online or anywhere else, just report back here.

#2. If you are top 3 in your tier, you can challenge the bottom 3 in the tier above you and they have to accept
#3. You can challenge anyone. So if you want to go after #1, go for it. But they have the right to decline since they do not meet the requirements of points #1 and #2.

yes, only on psn. And that list is a bit out of date.
I have kind of dropped honda, though I am still willing to help people practice.
Update the list as soon as possible to Cole I believe.
I now am mainly Dictator/Guile.
