Phewww, Finally , Some time to post.
Sb4 was pretty fun. I had two goals in mind when I was planning the trip.
Well. pretty much we’ve accompllished them. The trip was non stop fun. Certainly, you guys rep saint louis well especially Jay with his shenannigan (spell correctly?). Hopefully, we’ll do it again with a lot more people.
Some of the trip’s highlight.
-One player counter picked Jay with his abel instead of playing his rufus as main. His reasons was using ultra after blocking blanka ball. It work for two rounds. He looked pretty sastisfed. After that, Jay just abused blanka ball till he has ultra. By then , he would just jump/cross up abel. Lawl he looked pretty disappointed at the end.
-Ben/glen/j and I were at a Mcdonald's drive through. We were ordering some foods. The lady told us to wait a bit. We saw a couple players stay behind our car including the beast , Daigo. Ben opened his big mouth and yell "WTF are they doing". The lady from mcdonald heard it from the com and thought it was directly to her. Obviously, Glen got schooled by the lady since he's the driver. Hahaha.
-So we ate at a japanese restaurant nearby the venue. The terayiki chicken was horrible and burnt. I called the waiter and let him know. AT the time of tips, I put down 5 dollars since I swear I saw jjj put 5 dollars down. I'd give like 1 dollars. Later, I found out he only put down 2 dollars. I got owned. :crybaby:
- Glen vs daigo money match. Daigo is the beast, no doubt. He's on a different level. At the start, Glen was doing ok turtling. Daigo tend to throw a lot. He was training glen to option selects. Glen was trained. Everytime, he saw daigo about to throw he'd do option select. He probably think " I got this". Daigo was like "uh uh son". He'd do ex hurricance every time. After that, Glen was mind fuck. Every moves he made, got owned by daigo. He's too beastly.
- We were talking about Daigo. We noticed he never back up. He just move foward and push you into the corner. "His back movement is broke" somebody said. We all noded and agree . "he only move in one direction". Then somebody said "well his opponent move in one direction, too. B A C K W A R D". We laughed so hard after that.
-The foods in ohio weren't bad. We enjoyed the india's place a lot. Ben and I couldn't get enough of the beef/chicken stew. So good!!!
- "big 2" was our entertainment on our drive there. So much fun. On our way back, J and I decided to bet a meal for first to 10. Haha, I had so much fun trying to cheat jay. I enjoyed watching how JJJ reacted. I'd say "alen, do this and don't do that". Haha. Everytime, I got a good hand I'd say "There's no way for me to lose" or "I'll jump out of the window when I lose". For some mysterious reasons, I lost everytime I said something :xeye:. I alway lost when I was the dealer too. So at the final game, I decided to let ben deal the card. Lawl stupid ben was shuffling at the front and he was trying to organize the cards. Hahahahaha. I didn't expect that but funny nonetheless. Jay was like " uh uh, let me cut it" . Ben shuffled it again :yawn:. JJJ, I hope you know these are all jokes and fun. I don't care about the meals. Hahaha I spent much much more money on stupidier things.
- On our way back, while was in conversation, I mention JJJ snoring. Jay like "no son, You're the one that snore!!!" I'm like "Really". Alen asked "how the hell you don't know you snore ??". Ben replied "Not sleeping with anyone". Lawl I got owned there. Nobody told me, p!!!!
- Don't forget Jeff's ( the ptj man). Lawl everytime I see jeff, I saw him at the TVC machine with Kiet??. That guys is hooked with that game. He told me he had Justin next on blazblue. After the match, I found out Jeff lost because he clutched a combo. Not like this, Jeff!!!
- Who can forget our frequent piss stop!!!. We had to stop every 30 mins for old man glen for pissing breaks.
Good god, you’re still young glen. Go to the doctor and do some tests 
- Ben is the worst driver in saint louis. Jesus, I thought he'd hit curb first time he's trying my car. His excuses " Oh I had to step the gas pedal in my car, this car is too sensitive"
-After "azn brother" team beat "chris Hu" team, Glen went over to the organizer and told him. Lawl the expression on this guy was so funny. I was a bit far away but I still see his reactions. He was so suprised and I think he asked glen again to make sure he got it right. Hahaha Way to go guys. In addition to that, from what I heard, I wasn't there. "Chris Hu" team sent only one guy over to fight us. They thought "azn brother' are "fray". They don't even bother come watching. After JJJ beat the first guy, He ran all over place to rally his teammates. JJJ almost ocved that team as well. He was about to beat chris Hu with an ultra's chip damage. Chris hu have to jump back and kill jay with a j.lk. haha not like that jjj
- As glen picking Sagat to fight against Chris Hu, "Iloveyoujoe" was standing there and told Chris Hu "You got this, You know this match up!!!". Alen, being the smartass he's, put his hand over glen's shoulder and told out loud "Glen, You got this, You know this match up!!!" Of course, Glen beat Chris hu. Lawl, I'd love to be there but unfornately, I was peacing out on the couch.
-Joshthefunkdoc, I feel sorry for this guy. He played alen in both the single and team tourney. He played seth as main. Alen picked Rufus. He learned josh's pattern in the team tourney. He notice Josh would alway jump back after stand lk to avoid mix up. Alen would just do hk +ultra randomly after lk. Hahaha. priceless!!!!
-While watching some casual between Daigo vs us players, I saw a funny moment. Daigo and Sanford kelly was playing money matches. Sanford picked Sagat. He used kara upper cut + ultra vs daigo to some degree of success. After daigo adapt, He downloaded sanford and completely destroy Sanford. At about 10 matches or so, I heard Sanford muttering "I cannot beat this guy!!!". It was pretty funny for me. Cannot blame him though. Daigo is so goooddd. I have never seen anyone that play this good before in real life. I saw Alex valle in his prime, justin wong, john choi..... His skill is godlike. He alone make the trip an real eyeopening. His style of play is getting in your mind and made you feel like absolute powerless.
-In addition, I also saw some saddening pimp moves. While daigo + sanford kelly 's playing money matches, some black dudes tried to con people to side bet. They'd take Daigo of course. They kept asking and asking over and over to see if anyone would take it. Certainly, no one would since the odds are so unfavorable. One of them wear a lot of jewelries. I think that guy is from emp but i'm not sure. It sadden me to see they try to con people llike that. They yelled at it so loud. Anyone can hear it even Kelly. Pretty shitty moves.
-According to statistics, we don't learn from our mistakes. We love to lose to the same stuffs. "Azn brother" lost to the same team twices (Eric's team, I think). Alen lost a chunli player twice. JJJ got owned by Sandford Kelly twice. You should have picked "Dick". We saw he lost to the dick's player before and your "dick" is better than his. Wow that sound gay :). Way to suck, guys!!!! Hahahaha
-Well our skill gaps vs east coast/west coast is not that big. We can compete with them but we all noticed Daigo is on another level. It will take us awhile. HOpefully, We all get hungrier after this. I'll try to save my etos so we can do another big one with nick/rex/aaron/brad going with us.
