That Shiro/Iyo vs. Nemo/Mago match seems pretty fucking awesome. Apparently Chun vs. Dhalsim is 6-4 Sim according to the internet? So that would mean that the teams are basically completely even.
well that info was wrong, mago/nemo lost to gosho/??. Gosho is an “unknown” rufus, but when asked who the best rufus is alot of japs will name him. i think he is a top kof player? Anyway he beat mago AND nemo with rufus, insane…like two of his toughest fights wow.

this is only half right. first off, you are not a “serious player” so dont play it off as you are. i dont make all the shots, and we are not elitist. i do however have a better idea who are serious players (like kurasa) and who arent (like raeli). just becuz you play alot doesnt mean anything. if there isnt any single improvement, then u just spent weeks for nothing.
good example is nki. this dude be fucking leveling up like CRAZY! honestly, i was shocked he beat J at AR. now thats serious. i know you changed from ken to rufus. better move to mash(ex messiah) and more vitality but the fact remains, you still mash. this time around tho, you NEED meter for your mashing where as your ken didnt (dragon punch). all in all, you can play it off saying that you are serious but really you arent.
just to get down to the point, if this is a thread for “serious players”, anyone can just come in here (like recently) and play it off like they want to get serious. if so, then im in the wrong thread. i thought this was the place to level up, not have another one of those thread where we just talk about how tight a game is (marvel is tight tho) for some odd pages before a good post is posted.

yeah, i know…like on the forums, everybody respects me and thinks of me as this godlike person. and i notice some people are afraid to talk to me and stuff in person because of my personality online is too intimiditating, but in person, i’m actually really down to earth and easy to talk to. don’t think just because i’m too cool online that i’m too cool to talk to you, cause i’m not, i’m totally different in person.
i remember when rex was playin marvel a while back at mid rivers mall and he was on the machine but he had to go cause his mom called him or something while he still had his credit in and he asked me to play in his place, because he tried to please me so much to gain my respect. i knew what he was doing, he really didn’t have to go, he just tried to find some way to make me happy so that he could gain my approval, he didn’t really have to do it but he did.
i remember jjj, when we first met, we played our first game of sf4 at nki’s and later on the forums, he never even mentioned my name because he was afraid to speak my name. but then he got to know me and now he’s slowly learning that i’m not this god-like person that people make me out to be on the forums.
and aaron, LOL…let’s not talk about aaron. ok, i will. i remember i went over to his place to play some sf4. and then he offered me something, and me being the normal guy that i am said…“ok, i’ll take a water, thanks”. 5 minutes later, he comes down with water. ok, it doesn’t TAKE 5 minutes to get water, but when i drank the water, it was the best tasting water i’ve ever tasted. aaron literally filtered the water without a filter, i’ve been trying to figure out how he did it, even to this day…HOW DID YOU DO IT AARON, HOW? i KNOW he doesn’t do that for everybody. and to be honest, i was happy that he went through that trouble but come on guys, i’m just an average person.

My rufus at AR was after one week of me playing the character, dude. Literally, one week.
edit: And yes, I have trouble playing with STL peeps as I don’t have a car. That’s stopping me from leveling up, sure, but there’s nothing I can do about it for now. I plan to remedy this in the nearby future, anyway.
I’m sure I’m ‘invited’ to hookups, I just can’t make it. I’ve even tried more than a couple times but we have so few players over here, especially considering only a couple of them have cars, and for example… Rex’s house is pretty far away.
And it’s not like I don’t know about nigs talk shit on me behind my back, that’s nothing new. One of the few pros I give you is that you tell people shit straight to their face, and that hasn’t changed.
