Nurarihyon no Mago: Hyakki Ryouran Taisen

Is it gonna be a button masher? ASW’s all over the place! Blazblue CS Extend, Persona 4 Ultimate Arena, now this!

Oddly enough, it reminds me a bit of Daemon Bride.

In fairness, they’re only helping out on this one.

Oh forreal?? Didn’t know that! But yeah do you know if it’ll be a button masher?

How would I know if it’s a masher? It’s not like I’ve played it.

1st i want to know what do you consider a button masher

I’m just asking, calm down sheesh!!
Button-masher as in only using one button for attacking. That’s what I’ve noticed from licensed games these days

I’ll like to know this as well.

well, that is something that we cant know right now until more info about the game is revealed

the top comment’s not directed to you hetacom btw
but yeah i agree with you. if only licensed games can be a little more in depth :wtf:

well, there are games that only have one button for attack that have a good amount of depth, Eretzvaju, DBZ Lengends come to mind
depth comes from the options that you have trough your character and the game system and how do you can use them to your advantage in your strategies

That makes sense, I guess I was just looking at a more contemporary-style like SF or Tekken, but I see where you’re coming from!

Has anyone found any new info about the game? It doesn’t look like it’s been posted yet, so here’s a link to the official site: http://www.konami.jp/nuramago/game/cam/index.php

Anyone think since the game is also for the 360 that’s a good indication that a localization is planned? Since the 360 does so poorly in Japan, if they weren’t planning an international release I doubt they’d waste their time putting it on the 360. Hopefully since Aksys localizes the Blazblue and Guilty Gear games, they’ll bring this over too.

that would depend of konami, since ASW is developing the game for them

I"m sure it’ll come out here. With asw helping with the game they may help with localizing it here as well if konami isn’t up to the task. Funny thing is if the anime of this actually showed in the U.S it would be popular enough so that we wouldn’t have to worry about localizing.

I’m going to make topics on the game request boards for NIS, Aksys, Atlus, and XSEED; I’ll post them here after I make them. Also here’s a relatively new scan about the game. When I get a chance I’m going to work on translating it:

oh god, you mean that one game where you played as like 2 or 3 people and there was a meter at the bottom that would go one way or the other and if it went in your favor you got to see your chibi character do his ultimate move? THAT GAME?!

seriously though, i watched the Nura vid and i dont think i like it.

I’ve made the topics in the localization request boards! Make sure to go and post in them!:

I’m digging the female main antagonist. Plan to main her.

Here’s a little more information about the game that I translated from this scan: http://gamingeverything.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/nurarihyon_scan.jpg

This is about the gauge at the bottom of the screen:
Battles are determined by the Influence Gauge. By defeating the opposing Supreme Commander and their aides, the gauge changes and whoever pushes the gauge all the way to the other side is the winner!

(Arrow pointing to the Influence Gauge)
Various factors during battle affect how much of the gauge changes. For example, even if you defeat the opposing Supreme Commander that doesn’t immediately decide the battle.

EDIT: Based on what I was told on the NIS message boards, due to a publishing deal ArcSys has with Aksys here our best bet for getting the game localized is either Konami or Aksys.
